I am a 62-year-old woman with psoriatic arthritis, and when I first went to see Dr. Prewo, I was experiencing severe lower back pain. I had difficulty sitting and walking and was struggling with everyday activities. After just a few sessions, I noticed a significant improvement. I can now sit, walk, and even ride my bike with very little pain. He also used the STEM wave on my hips, both of which have been replaced, as well as my ankle, and I have found it very helpful. What an amazing difference in pain, muscle tension and posture from when I first saw Dr. Prewo 12 weeks ago. I'm 45 years old and I've been living with a spinal fusion for 27 years. My problems were relatively minor until recently. I've been to many rounds of physical therapy to treat symptoms that have arisen but new issues always came up.After looking at my x-rays the doctor was hopeful he could make a difference but my fusion is extensive and he had doubts. It has been 12 weeks and I don't think he or I could have predicted how good I'd be feeling. When I arrived in the office I had neck and back pain and most notably my back was tense and knotted. This caused problems sleeping and interfered with my daily activities like parenting.My case may be extreme but the doctor knew how to treat me in a systematic way without causing collateral issues. Dr Erin has been excellent to work with as we get the root cause of some gut-related symptoms my child was having. Dr. Prewo has helped me experience movement with less pain and discomfort. I’m only a few months in but can already feel a difference. There was a time when I decided running was behind me due to my lower back and knee discomfort. I recently tried a 30 minute jog/walk and I was surprised at how I was able to go the entire time. Success!! After dealing with knee and lower back pain for years, I decided to try the Stemwave therapy that was being offered here. It literally has been life changing. I no longer have chronic knee pain in either knee; in fact I have no pain in either knee. And, although Stemwave was only applied to my knees, it has had a positive effect on my chronic lower back pain, which is now nearly nonexistent. Everything is indeed interconnected! I highly recommend this treatment in general, and Dr. Prewo in specific. This combination has definitely given me a better quality of life.

I first started going to Dr Shepherd for chiropractic treatment, which was wonderful! She's a great practitioner. During the chiro visits we talked, and I discovered Dr Shepherd is very well educated in functional medicine. I truly believe in functional medicine to treat your body and to become healthier. It improves your mind and body. Functional medicine gets to the root of the problem versus covering the issue(s) with a "band aide". Most treatment involves taking supplements versus drugs that may mask the symptoms as well as cause side effects that are unhealthful! I highly recommend using functional medicine for everyday health and wellness.And just to add, Dr Shepherd would not treat a condition she did not feel qualified to treat, i.e. cardiac disorders, etc. She believes there are times a medical doctor specialist is warranted.I've been receiving care from her for years and totally trust her judgment.thanks Dr Shepherd!

I've had scoliosis my whole life, which progressed to spondylolisthesis and stenosis in my lower back. After a car accident in 2022 I was left with disc issues that caused pressure on my piriformis and sciatic nerve. My pain was a consistent 7 out of 10 and while I received minor temporary relief from other forms of treatment from various specialists, it wasn't until I switched to Dr Chris that I began new methods of treatment to approach this situation. I have found more relief that has been progressive. I am thrilled that I can now tolerate standing and movement for more than 20 minutes at a time-- I can now be on my feet for up to 2 hours before needing a break and the pain isn't as chronic as it was, in addition to now being a 3-4 out of 10 most days. I can also tolerate brisk walking for 12-15 minutes! I am grateful for my progress and happy to finally feel like I am moving in a positive direction thanks to Dr. Chris 🙏🏽

Dr. Shepherd has made a tremendous difference in my son’s health. My 7 year old had a chronic cough and was repeatedly at the pediatrician’s office for steroids to help him breathe. Had lower back nerve ablation surgery after 2 years of pain, without success, so I decided to try a chiropractor. Dr. Prewo was highly recommended by trusted friends, and he impressed me when he said “I’m not touching you until I see your X-rays.” Within a few weeks of treatment, I was almost back to normal. I have been coming here for the last 3 months or so, i had initially come in because I was dealing with the worst of headaches and had no idea what it could be. I workout 5-6 days a week while also being disabled limited to a wheelchair and crutches. Due to all this I put a lot of stress on my body that others may typically not. Had really bad neck pain, low mobility, couldn’t drive or go to work without severe pain. Going 2-3 times a week for a few weeks improved pain and mobility. By two or three months my upper body strength and posture also improved. When being treated for neck pain I injured my lower back and consistent treatments helped me get back up and moving. Super welcoming staff, very friendly and helpful, highly recommend this office!!
