I booked a shoot with Kim on a whim. Am I ultimately glad I did? Yes. Will I do it again? I’m not sure. If so, there will be a few things I approach differently.Kim is very skilled at alleviating stress surrounding the shoot. I walked in nearly in tears, and was laughing and joking with the makeup/hair stylist less than 30min later. I still felt awkward & exposed during the shoot, but Kim didn’t give me much time to dwell on it.My reveal was fully digital rather than over a Zoom call. This ended up being way better for me than I anticipated, as I didn’t “look like myself” and couldn’t stand any of the photos initially. This format allowed me to go back to my photos days later, after the “shock” wore off. I ended up loving more of my photos than I expected to.My one big critique: I wish there had been a little more transparency about what the “professional hair and makeup” would actually look like. I am very skilled at doing my own (and others’) makeup, and was disappointed by the very minimal product used, except for GIANT lashes. The stylist also didn’t listen when I requested stronger hold product for the curls in my hair. This resulted in me needing to fix both my hair & makeup after completion of the shoot. Less

I was made to feel very comfortable with all my poses. I enjoyed the entire process from getting my hair and makeup to finish up with the shower scene! If this whole experience wasn’t the best for a confidence boost I don’t know what would. I recommend it for anyone who needs to see the beauty within Less

Do not debate, contemplate or hesitate.. just DO IT!! It was the most amazing experience and so empowering. I couldn't be more happy with my pictures! Kim and staff work so diligently at addressing any concerns or hesitations you may have from beginning to end. I highly recommend FTP for ANY photo shoot you are interested in. Less
