I’ve just finished Foundations at The Pole Room Mitcham and I absolutely love it!What started as something completely outside my comfort zone has quickly become the highlight of my week. The instructors are incredible—so supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. The community is just as amazing, with everyone cheering each other on every step of the way.One of the best things about The Pole Room is how welcoming and inclusive it is. You don’t need to be a certain size, shape, age, or fitness level to start—just come as you are. Everyone is encouraged, supported, and celebrated for their progress.If you’ve been thinking about giving pole a try, do it. Joining The Pole Room Mitcham is one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I can’t wait to keep going!!

I started aerials here late last year and I'm really glad to have found such a supportive and fun environment so close to home ❤️ The instructors really know their stuff, and the reception staff is really warm and welcoming. I'm definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in pole or aerial.

I’ve struggled with body image issues for a long time but as soon as I walked into TPR I knew I found my tribe. In four weeks I’ve become stronger, able to achieve things I never thought possible and am part of an amazing, welcoming & supportive community. I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a fun way to workout/get fit when a gym is daunting/boring!

They have a wide range of classes and explain everything really well on their website. I've just done the 4 week beginners course and I am in love!!! An amazing studio where I like to spend my spare time. I’ve grown so much since starting here. Learning new dance routines and tricks is my little escape from the world. Stepping into a pole studio is something I didn't think I would ever have the courage to do, but turns out it was one of the best decisions I have made! From the orientation night, to my first class, the people I have met; I have always felt welcomed and safe in a judgement free environment. In a short amount of time, it's already helped grow my self confidence and love my body more than I did when I would go to the gym. The Pole Room has helped me in more than just improving my physical strength. There is a wide range of classes to cater to all ability, strength and interest levels depending on what you want to work on. Each level progresses slowly and allows you to master each technique with the help of the most amazing instructors! I highly recommend taking the leap and joining!

TPR Mitcham is fantastic - everyone is REALLY welcoming to brand new beginners and transfers from other studios. Everyone claps in class and celebrates everyone's wins, its so wholesome, refreshing and like a second home to lots of people.You don't need any experience in dance or aerial sports to try it. Their website is also really helpful for explaining what classes are what, and they cater to lots of beginners as well as advanced people. There's free parking out the front, toilets, heated rooms with different sized poles (38 and 40mm) to cater for all tastes. They hold (totally optional) in-house competitions and showcases throughout the year. Terms are 8 weeks, and grading 'exams' (to go into the next level up) is in week 7.I'm in love, thanks TPR.

with no dance or fitness background whatsoever, it took me a while to build up the courage to join but as soon as i came through those doors i felt so welcomed! vibes are always high and it is such a supportive environment, the teachers and students i have had the pleasure of meeting have all been so lovely. coming to the pole room is truly the best decision i have ever made for myself, my mental health and my physical health and i cannot wait to see where pole takes me throughout the rest of my life 🥹

Highly recommend TPR to anyone wanting to get fit, have fun and make new friends. All the staff here are so lovely, there is a large range of dance classes, courses and practice sessions and is in an easy to get to location with easy parking. So glad I found this place, it is my second home!

My safe space, my home, my joy and my people ❤️ Jade is absolutely incredible. She’s so loving and caring to everyone who comes to her classes. And the years I’ve been doing with Jade now have brought my dancing, my tricks, my strength and my confidence to a level I never could have imagined.I adore her new Flex class this term! The stretches and exercises she teaches are perfect no matter what level you’re at or how flexible you are, you are able to push yourself to whatever limit feels good for your body, in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. Also have loved her trending tricks and pure pole for ages now, always my regular go to ♾️Another special mention for Tameena, every single class I’ve ever gone to has been an absolute joy, even on my worst days where I’m feeling so down, I leave tams classes so much brighter and uplifted. The energy she brings is extraordinary and it shows in her vibe and demeanour, her support and kindness to all students and her dancing/teaching. Love love love ✨
