While they were here, they even found time to repair a ceiling crack that another contractor had not successfully fixed for a lot less mess and less money than the original “repair” job. In September of 2018 I showed up at Evans Training Center as a broken, empty mess. Having been released from prison to complete another program on probation I was feeling hopeless inside. I was stuck on the never ending merry-go round of addiction and didn’t really believe there was a way out, but close to 5 years later I’m not only sober, but thriving in life. Evans is the place that Jesus Christ used to not only save my life, but capture my heart and I know He is the only reason that I have any success in my life today. The men there taught me what it looks like to have a real, relevant relationship with the Lord and on a constant basis they poured themselves and the love of Christ into my life making recovery possible for me after so many years of failed attempts.
