I have two dogs now. Took first one here for his first groom nearly 2 years ago, and never went anywhere else. Same with the second who’s now 8 months. It’s not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. Quality, safety, care, efficiency, knowledge and training for a lifetime of successful grooming. The team takes great care of them, and both of them actually love coming here.They’ve also helped get my dogs comfortable with grooming from day one, which makes a big difference. I know they’re safe, well taken care of, and treated right when they’re there. This isn’t always an easy job, and sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned (we are dealing with animals after all) but they always do their best and put the dogs first.Both of my dogs are always happy and not stressed, and that’s all I really need to know. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

Complete waste of money. I paid full price, but they left the grooming completely unfinished and only did half the job. It is clear this business cares about profit margins rather than the actual well-being of the dogs. To make matters worse, the staff was unprofessional and spoke poorly about my dog right in front of me. Save your money and protect your pet-do not use this service.UPDATE: The owner’s response below unfortunately reinforces my concerns about how this situation was handled. I want to be clear that I do not dispute that my puppy was nervous or that the groomer made the right decision not to force him through a haircut if it could not be completed safely. We would never want him unnecessarily stressed or forced through a grooming.My concern was with how the situation was handled. We explained beforehand that this was his first grooming appointment, but were never told that there was a significant possibility the full haircut might not be completed or that we would still be charged the full $140 if that happened. After two hours, only limited trimming could be completed, and when we asked whether they could work with us on the price or offer some accommodation, we were told no. We also weren’t given much of a plan for how to move forward with a puppy who still needs to be groomed.I’m also very disappointed that the owner chose to publicly identify my wife and repeat details of a private conversation she had with staff, including information about our experience with a previous groomer. She did not write this review, and we did not consent to having that conversation shared publicly. I also don’t think comments about what our breeder should have told us were necessary or professional.We understand that not every dog is a fit for every groomer, and if they felt they were not equipped to work with him, we would have respected being told that. Our frustration is with the lack of expectation-setting beforehand, the handling of the situation afterward, and now the tone and content of the public response.

Hands down the best grooming experience you could ask for. Peticures at Bell Works delivers flawless, high-end styling. Lisa is a phenomenal groomer who handles Goldendoodle coats with extraordinary skill, and the owner, Tony, runs a great dog spa. The care behind the scenes is what makes them truly special. You can see the love what they do. My dog is genuinely thrilled to walk through their doors and jumps right onto the table. One of the best decisions I made! 5 stars all the way for Lisa, Tony and the Peticures team!

Finding a trustworthy groomer has been tough, but PETicures completely blew us away! After a bad experience elsewhere, we were cautious, but Tony was incredibly helpful during booking, and Lisa provided amazing, attentive care for our puppy. She came out looking absolutely adorable and, most importantly, completely calm and happy. The location is also fantastic with plenty to do while your dog is being pampered. We’ve already booked our next appointment!

Took my overly sensitive and scared doggy here because I saw how well they work with dogs through the see through glass. My dog really doesn’t like going to groomers. They were super understanding and made sure he got to know them first, to make him feel comfortable. He came out so happy with the groomer, that he just didn’t want to leave in the end. He kept running back to play with the groomers, and didn’t even care that I came to pick him up. You can tell they really love dogs here and go the extra mile to make them feel happy. They also have high quality low ingredient snacks that he got to try. It was definitely a better experience than the average grooming places, if you want what’s best for the dog.

So about every 4–6 months we take our dog, Lucas “Big Lou (aka Lewis)” to the vet, who has to put him under sedation to cut his hair (he’s a rescue who’s violent - to put it mildly - around scissors). ✂️ The last time I took him, the vet said, “Bob, in all seriousness… I’ve never seen anything like it. I gave him a dose that would take down a horse and he actually came out of it and bit the technician.”So you can imagine when our 16-year old son told us that his buddy has an Uncle Tony who could groom Big Lou, we were like, “NO WAY!” So, at a vet cost per cut that rivals an upscale woman’s salon, Sonia and I said, what do we have to lose? And we took Lucas to PETicures at Bell Works in Holmdel.Our boys stopped their pickup basketball game for a group prayer; My wife and I dropped off Lewis and were so concerned for the groomer, Lisa, that she politely asked us to stop and trust her; and our older son was texting from college (concerned for the groomer) to keep him posted.My wife and I dropped off Lucas, said a prayer (literally), grabbed a bite to eat, and nervously paced and paced and paced (Bell Works has a nice indoor walkway). Don’t you know 10 minutes turned into 20, which turned into 30. We peeked in and Lucas actually looked happy!!! Sure enough, we got the call that he was ready!We picked up our little man and he was not only chipper but dapper! 😎 A shout-out to Lisa the groomer. I’ve been bringing my Cavapoo puppy here for the last three months, and the groomers consistently do an incredible job. They really understand the specific coat needs of doodle breeds and always maintain that adorable “doodle” look for my puppy while keeping him well-groomed every visit. He loves coming here!
