I recently went to Dr. Todd because I was experiencing 10/10 back pain after picking up my 10 month old consistently. My experience was amazing. It has been about 4 months since I became a patient of Mount Dora Chiropractic - and I plan on continuing. Prior to starting I was in constant pain. The discomfort effected my neck, mid back, lower back ribs and shoulder the most. My waning energy levels were something I chalked up to part of the aging products. I didn't like it, but what could I do? Dr Todd's specialty in atlas and upper cervical adjustments made me think this type of care would possibly be different than previous chiropractors I had seen. The "crack shack" approach of seeing a doctor for 3 minutes for a quick adjustment and leaving did not have any lasting positive effects. Even though Dr Todd isn't the lowest cost Dr, to me it was absolutely worth a shot. If if could help reduce the deafeningly loud constant pain, it would be worth every penny, and then some. Fast forward 4 months. My days are manageable now. Instead of loud pain, the volume has been turned down to around a 3. I can live happily and peacefully with that. The effects I was not expecting and am equally grateful for are no more chronic sore throats and much, MUCH more energy. I can be on the go and physically active to pushing myself without paying the next day, of needing a nap. I was not expecting those welcome"auxiliary" benefits. In addition to a clinical approach to care (with some nice sounding multi-syllable words tossed around) I have been given tools to use for in between visits home care, that I use daily. My advice to anyone reading this review who wants to feel better, please do yourself a favor that your body will thank you for and schedule an appointment with Mount Dora Family Chiropractic. After years of appointments with traditional chiropractors, I was still suffering with headaches, neck/shoulder pain, inner ear problems, mid and low back pain, and more. The saddest part was that I was beginning to reach a mental state of acceptance of these annoyances. But after my first visit with Dr. Todd, I felt as if a big weight had been lifted off of my head and shoulders and back, and my symptoms started to melt away. I am so happy to report this is the first time I have had consistent relief with NOT waking up with numbing hands every single day. After about 3 weeks i realized I was getting relief.
