I found Alive Chiropractic in January 2024 and have been so so grateful to have Dr.Rob. My goal(need) when I found Alive was to be able to do basic household things and get through the day without being in extreme pain at the end of the day. Once that was possible my next goal would be to increase my overall mobility so I can ease into being able to MOVE my body for exercise and PLAY without pain. Those are pretty essential things to feel mentally and emotionally OK! After my hip surgery I was definitely slowly but surely experiencing some relief. About 3 months after surgery I felt I was healing and improving my hip function at a great pace but after the holidays I felt like I hit a wall with my physical progress. My hip was regaining strength and flexibility/mobility but my low backpain was now the most painful part of my daily experience and inhibiting my progress. I have been receiving treatment from Dr.Rob for less than 3 months and am absolutely thrilled with the way I am feeling and functioning. I am happier because I have 1) less constant PAIN and 2) more energy to be present in my life and with my toddler 3) more room for the joy that being present in my life brings into my being. MommaKApproved!!! With a lot of research prior to our visit at Alive Chiropractic - I did not expect the results that I received to happen so quickly. I limped into this Drs office and 1 week later I was walking again. After 2 weeks of adjustments my pain is nearly gone. I was able to take the dog out for brief walks and get around the home up and down stairs within the first week. After the second week I was nearly out of pain. I am not kidding nearly gone!! I also realized my headaches were gone too - I saw the bottle of Tylenol on my bedside table and had to think when was the last time I took any. I am amazed by how quickly the technique that this Dr. uses works. This past weekend I was able to walk on the treadmill again. I walked for 30 minutes as I didn’t want to push it too far right away, however I did it with no pain and actually found myself walk/jogging near the end of the 30 minutes. Alive Chiropractic is so different from other chiropractic clinics. Their gentle method leaves me feeling far more relaxed than past experiences elsewhere. Since I’ve started receiving care here, I have far less neck pain than I used to. A huge bonus—the staff is so friendly. It’s comforting being greeted by name with a genuine and friendly smile.

I had daily headaches for a couple of years and after three months of working with Alive Chiropractic I now am mostly headache free. This may be a long review but bear with me because I have nothing but positive things to say! To start, I came to Alive Chiropractic as somewhat of a skeptic since I did not have the typical back pain that most people associate chiropractic care with. I decided to explore chiropractic care, and specifically the torque release technique, due to GI issues that I have struggled with for about a decade. When I was a senior in high school, about 6 years ago, I had a surgery to correct an auto immune GI disorder and was diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease. Since then I have had to make several lifestyles changes, which have still not completely helped ease my symptoms. I would sleep with about 5 pillows behind me every night to put myself at a 45-60 degree angle so I wouldn’t wake with heartburn, I would avoid gluten and (most) dairy products to prevent severe bloating and abdominal discomfort, and I would take acid reducers about 1-2x a week due to the consist heartburn. After hearing about the TRT chiropractic technique from a family member, I figured I would take a shot in the dark and explore it so that I could hopefully experience some relief - which to my surprise, it has been the most impactful lifestyle change I have made yet! I am now over 2 months into receiving care and I am able to sleep with only one to two pillows behind me, am less strict with my gluten and dairy free diet, and have not taken an acid reducer in over a month. I have been able to make these changes while seeing my heartburn, bloating, and abdominal discomfort symptoms actually decrease! I never thought this would be possible since I have become so used to living with the discomfort and figured my symptoms were just something I would have to deal with as a result of my GI disorders. One of my biggest take aways from Alive Chiropractic has been: what we may think is “normal” for our body, due to past disorders or injuries, is actually our bodies compensating to protect themselves. Our bodies, and the nervous system specifically, are capable of healing even symptoms we didn’t think could be healed, we just have to allow an aligned structure for it to do so. I have witnessed how this change in structure can have the most impactful outcomes. As a 24 year old who thought she would have these symptoms for the rest of her life, I am very very grateful for it! Last, but certainly not least, Dr. Rob and Dr. Taylor are two incredibly knowledgeable people who do a great job at educating you along the way. They truly enjoy teaching you about what is being adjusted, sharing in your successes, and addressing any/all questions you may have. Each staff member at Alive Chiropractic, especially Rachel, make you feel welcomed and supported. The entire atmosphere of the office is such a positive one! I might actually be sad when I don’t need as frequent of care and have to reduce the amount of times I visit the office… Overall, I have been incredibly pleased with my care at Alive Chiropractic and would recommend it to every person if I could! This is the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to! I had weekly adjustments throughout my pregnancy and believe it enabled me to have the most comfortable and active pregnancy possible. I’ve been getting adjustments postpartum as well, and it’s definitely helping me heal. This will be part of my health and wellness routine for the long haul!
