We have been training our rescue dog, Clover, with Laura for around 6 months and she has come on leaps and bounds since the start. At the beginning Clover was very shut down and did not want to engage in any training and would not even eat treats, but now she loves it and picks up (most) training very quickly. We are still working on some longer term, more deep set issues, but have definitely seen improvement.Laura provides a very low pressure environment and happily adapts her plans to accommodate how Clover is responding or if there are any areas we want to discuss/ look at on the day.Overall, I highly recommend Dog Training with Laura Mars

A huge thank you to Laura Marrs for her guidance over the last few weeks. Myself, Linda, and Triss were all struggling to get on the same page, but Laura helped us navigate that relationship with so much patience. It was great to see her methods (which you can read about on her website) put into practice so successfully. She was always on time, incredibly reliable, and felt like a part of the team from day one. We are so grateful for her help!

Most importantly we enjoyed Laura's sessions and now have a wealth of activities to guide us. Her positive approach using games has increased my confidence as a first time dog guardian. Laura's session summary, instruction videos, and handouts are so useful to ensure we can practice fully afterwards. She was also great understanding and adapting to our needs (many!) to ensure we could work towards success. All much appreciated. Thank you so much Laura.

We started training with Laura as our dog, Ernie, could not settle with visitors, was nervous around other dogs and to improve loose lead walking. 4 weeks in, we followed Laura's excellent advice and Ernie settled throughout a visit. We walked past a work van when dogs jumped at the window and barked - we immediately went into taught and rehearsed strategies and Bingo we walked straight past the van still on a loose lead! Brilliant! Love the videos and follow ups so we can make sure we understand what we are doing and reasons why. All of us so much more relaxed and enjoying each other. Fantastic support from the start.

Being mentored by Laura Mars has honestly been life-changing. Their support, encouragement and kindness has helped me grow so much in confidence, both as a trainer and as a person. Laura Mars is an exceptional mentor! She helped me during my time trying to pass the DTC Certified Dog Trainers course and continues to support me through The Dog Trainers Haven.Her level of knowledge of understanding dogs, as well as humans is amazing.She is always supportive, dedicated, professional, uplifting, caring and very encouraging.
