We’ve had a mixed experience so far. Every time we go, depending on who assists us, we receive different information regarding how many swim diapers to use and which brands are appropriate. There also seems to be some confusion around billing — we were initially charged for the full month in advance, but later given a credit after being told that payments are supposed to be made at the beginning of each month.It feels like there is a lack of communication among the staff, especially regarding payment policies and diaper requirements, which can be frustrating.On the positive side, the instructor we had was good, especially for the mommy-and-me group. The water is warm, which makes it comfortable for the kids when they enter.Overall, there are definitely some great aspects, but there is room for improvement in consistency and communication.

Absolutely love this swim school! My kids have so much fun while learning valuable skills. The instructors are fantastic and create a safe, engaging environment. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this swim school and the happiness it brings my child. I have a 4 year old autistic daughter who waits every week for Tuesday afternoon's. I have seen my daughter become more and more accepting of the water. The instructor's at this facility truly care about the children and ensuring they lean. I am very pleased with my decision in choosing Small Fish Big Fish.

I had my son's first birthday at SFBF Swim School and it was perfect!!! The even facilitated a mini swim lesson during the party. The staff was super nice and helpful. It was perfect, we'll be back for sure!

The teachers are super patient and so good with my little one. Every week she’s getting more confident in the water, and it makes me so happy to see her learning. It’s really important to me that my toddler knows how to swim, and this place has been perfect. Safe, fun, and supportive. I’d recommend it to any parent around here!

Love the staff, very organized with an easy check in system for the kids to follow.The building and pool area are all so colorful, inviting.We love that we can watch the kiddos while we wait.Only thing is the changing room needs more attention to be cleaner/ fresher on a regular basis. Not sure if it's a staffing thing or parents just not taking care of it. But something to improve on.Thanks for all you do guys 🤗

My 3 year old has been going to this swim school for the past 2 months and I’ve been nothing but proud of the progress that she has shown in her swim skills. My daughter looks forward to going to her “pool class” weekly. The staff and instructors at Small Fish Big Fish are very professional and knowledgeable. I am big on names and they remembered my daughter’s name after the first day which made my momma heart so happy. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking into swimming classes. You will not regret it!

Not safe for toddlers.I took my 2 year old daughter to 5 beginner/minnow classes there. At her last class on July 30th @ 5pm, her instructor swam away with her back to my daughter as she coached another child, and did not see my daughter slip off the pool steps, into a deeper part of the pool. None of the other instructors in the pool or the deck supervisor saw my daughter flailing and bobbing for air. After seeing her through the window in the parent waiting area, I ran to the pool deck and jumped into the pool (fully clothed and with shoes) to pull her out. Her instructor didn’t notice me in the pool until a several seconds after.Luckily it all happened so fast that my daughter was only startled. After a big hug, she agreed to finish her class. I stayed in the pool deck and the deck supervisor sat by her lane at the edge of the pool until the class ended.After class, the supervisor apologized and explained that the instructor was new, and acknowledged she should have never turned her back to my daughter.Unprompted, the supervisor also promised to refund my payment for the class. I never received the refund, but more importantly, I am disappointed that they are entrusting untrained instructors to teach 2 year olds how to swim.I’m not satisfied with the safety of this swim school and won’t be returning.

This school is great and the coaches are very patient and adaptive with children, even those with short attention spans. Every single child should know how to swim whether they have access to water or not. Drowning is preventable only if kids know how to swim and know how dangerous water can be.

What a great place to take your child to learn how to swim. The staff are very nice, respectable, and accommodating. Special thanks to swim instructor, Marissa, whom been working with my autistic son for 3 months now. He was scared of the water but Marissa has been patient, caring, and supportive of my son, and he is now more conformable in the water. I highly recommend this facility.

I knew before my son was born that swimming lessons were super important here in Florida. My son has been going to this swim school since he was 2 months old. He’s now almost a year old and is a little fish! He looks forward to his swimming lessons every week. The swim instructors and staff are simply amazing!

I had a lot of reservations about signing my kids up for swim lessons. My children were very averse the getting their faces wet and going under water. I worried that they would spend the whole class screaming or refusing to participate!From day one, the staff at SFBF did everything in their power to make my kids feel welcome and engaged in their lessons. They were not deterred by my 3-year-old's (very verbal) apprehension to getting in the water...they met him where he was at and helped empower him to overcome his fears. I was encouraged by the warmth and reassurance we experienced from staff and coaches, especially during those early classes.Now, both my 5 and 3 yr olds are very enthusiastic about going to swim class and I can see their confidence increasing with each lesson. For any parents with water-wary children like mine, I cannot recommend this facility highly enough!
