I joined LCLD a couple months ago and love it. I’ve attended many group classes in different places over the years and all of them focus on what is essentially a memorized routine, which doesn’t translate into social dance. LCLD does the opposite, challenging you with new moves but then turning on the music and encouraging you to include them, rather than drill.I also love the community there. Laurel, Chloe, Jacintha, and Tracy make the environment welcoming and fun. The crowd is friendly and social. Also their monthly Friday dance parties are a blast! Sign up.

I absolutely love taking classes here at Laurel Card Latin Dance. I am so excited to get back into it now that the holidays are over. The Salsa partner group classes are led with skill, intention, and fun and I feel so much growth in each class as both a leader and follower. The Reggaeton classes have also opened up a new door for me to feel confident dancing solo. Laurel, Tracey, Chloe & Jacintha never fail to make me have a great time and they are all just as kind as they are talented. There is so much opportunity to apply what we've learned in classes into social dance settings and the price point also makes dancing as a hobby super easy and sustainable! 10/10 would recommend to all!

I walked into this studio with no salsa experience at all and quickly found a space full of patience, warmth and community. The instructors are incredibly supportive!! And what I love most is that this studio reminds you that dancing isn’t about being perfect, it’s about trusting your body, enjoying the process, and showing up for yourself. I’ve felt welcomed, encouraged, and excited to keep coming back. Such a special place to begin (and grow) as a dancer

I used to attend Laurel’s bachata and salsa classes when I lived in Philly. She’s such a talented dancer. As a teacher she’s great at explaining the technique, very patient, and has so much fun at the same time. Forever grateful to Laurel for getting me started in latin dancing!
