The training from the trainers was very good. Most of the communications with the staff was great with a couple phone calls not returned. My suggestion would be to allow more time allowed for the dogs to eat and pay a little closer attention to the amount the dogs are eating. My pup came back no longer house broken for the most part so I feel she had not enough access to being outside to deficate and pee. Good people to here though.

Recently had my dog complete their 3-week board and train program. The changes I have seen in my dog are amazing. Our pup, Nolee, came from an abusive start and when we adopted her, we realized we would need professional help to make training as easy as possible. We picked Complete Canine Training from a random Google search but knew it was right for us and our dog after our first phone call with Brian. The entire staff is so friendly, professional, and undoubtedly masters at their craft.Nolee was with CCT for 3 weeks in their puppy program. We received video and photo updates 2-3 times a week and my goodness was she having a BLAST with her trainers! Her skills improved dramatically even after 1 week. Every Friday, CCT would share a report card with achievements, opportunities, goals for the upcoming week, and diet tracking. They're great about keeping owners informed promptly- say if an issue arises (like happy tail, in Nolee's case).No, they won't change your pups personality (they don't even want to!), so she's still the goofy chaos gremlin we know and love. But now that she's home, the difference is night and day. She's a RESPECTFUL goofy little gremlin with more confidence, discipline, and such good manners. We can't stop saying "wow, they did such an amazing job!" or, more importantly, "wow, we are so proud."Thank you to the entire team at Complete Canine Training for taking care of our girl and helping her succeed!!!

I had a great experience doing one on one sessions at Complete Canine. Prior to training, Lola (an almost 5 year old labradoodle) was pulling so hard on walks and reacting to neighbors and other dogs that it was hard to take her outside. By our final lesson she made her way around Home Depot for 40 minutes without pulling and barking.

Love this place! Complete Canine Training helped our 5yo Great Dane *really* learn her obediance commands, rather than picking and choosing when to respond. I never thought she'd have a true recall, luckily I was wrong :) We started with a 3wk board and train, and now use Complete Canine as our primary boarding place. All the staff are knowledgable, professional, and trustworthy with our dog. I cannot say enough. Thank you!

You meet a 2-month-old puppy. You fall in love with his quirkiness and his puppy-dog eyes that promise you love and devotion. You bring him home. You potty train him successfully after less than a week and walk him around the block, and you think, "This is EASY. I can train him!" with a nice pat on your back.Then he turns 4 months old and develops new behaviors out of freaking nowhere. Like eating drywall, telling you that he loves you by chomping your face, demand barking, herding your cats, and treating your human children as littermates. You contact your family and friends for training trips. You consult with Google. You learn about marker words and training strategies, and you read forums about the dinosaur stage of a puppy. You try to push through it until you realize that this stage doesn't really end until 1-2 YEARS OLD. Your children's clothes have holes in them.So you Google a “dog trainer in your area” and come across a company with raving reviews. You call and are informed about the Foundation Puppy Board and Training program. You learn it's 3 weeks long! You are skeptical, but talk with a kind person, Brian, who eases you into what to expect and assures you that your puppy will be the same silly boy you fell in love with, just with some manners.He's gone for three weeks, and you get progress reports and pictures. You pick him up and are absolutely amazed by how polite and well-mannered your dog has become. There's now peace in the house. Your clothes don't develop new holes. Your puppy does well with follow-up lessons with a lovely trainer, Shay.So you adopt another adult dog because you secretly thrive on chaos. And you believe you can do it because you took the 2-hour Take Home lesson from a professional trainer, which makes you a professional. You are proven wrong. They pair up to develop new habits together. Like chewing holes into your barstools, herding the cats together, and competing on who can rip up the carpet faster. You go back and confess to Shay about your happy dumb decisions. She helps you develop a plan: adult dog with 6 one-on-one E-Collar sessions and E-collar Board and Train for your dinosaur puppy.They finish training, and you have SO MUCH peace in the house. No new holes.If the beginnings of this story resonated with you and you want some peace and less destruction, I highly recommend Complete Canine. In all seriousness, the trainers and kennel techs were amazing and I think they really loved on those dogs. During our first take-home lesson, Brenna was patient with us as we navigated their marker words and their training method. Skylar helped a ton with scheduling (my schedule is chaotic) and keeping us informed on our puppy. Shay was such a delight to work with. We did all our one-on-ones with her, and she started each session by discussing our goals for that session. She really focused on what worked for our family, which I think helped the training stick. Our dogs, Hopper and Cookie, love her so much. She also gently corrected any bad training habits we developed, like not paying/marking our dog on time or using inconsistent marker words. We will definitely be back to board our dogs and any future training needs we may have!

To all clients who currently have or recently had dogs in training at the facility:I am sharing this information solely out of concern for the health of the dogs.During my employment, I personally observed that four dogs arrived at the facility showing symptoms consistent with kennel cough and gastrointestinal illness (including symptoms consistent with Giardia). After these dogs entered the facility, I began noticing multiple client dogs developing new symptoms, such as coughing and significant diarrhea.I reported these observations internally. Leadership was aware that the incoming dogs were symptomatic at the time they arrived.Because illnesses like kennel cough and Giardia can spread very quickly in group environments, I believe it is important for owners to be informed so they can make the best decisions for their pets.If your dog was in the facility at any time since late November, I recommend:• Monitoring for coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, diarrhea, vomiting, or lethargy• Contacting your veterinarian if any symptoms appear• Speaking with the facility about their current health protocols and refund optionsThe most recent symptomatic dog I became aware of was evaluated at Bridge Street Vet Clinic in Brighton, Colorado, the day before my employment ended.I am sharing this only to inform dog owners so they can act promptly and protect their pets’ health. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Complete Canine Training! Our two French Bulldogs (ages 3 and 5) recently completed their two-week and three-week training programs, the longer one for behavior modification and reactivity around other dogs. Since our pups had never been away from home before, we were nervous about how they would adjust, but the trainers were absolutely amazing.They made our dogs feel safe and comfortable from day one, and they came home with wonderful manners, improved focus, and new skills that have already made a difference in our daily life.
