I really liked the facility, trainers and how well they communicated with us when our dog was at his 3 week board and train. I gave 5 stars, because of the above, but the only thing that was subpar during our stay was that the facility forgot to give our dog his raw food while he was there. This was an oversight. I will use them again, but will watch for this.

Took my pup in because I was having difficulty with her during walks, she’s really strong and would pull a lot. Walls are so much better now. She does a great job at heeling and placing. 10/10

They did an amazing job with Bulleit. We also learned a lot that day we picked him up. If you stay on top of what you learn it makes for a better dog.

Complete Canine did a great job with my dog JuneBug. I have had her for a few years, but they helped her with properly walking on a leash and teaching me how to redirect her. She’s only been home for a few weeks, but highly recommend. They also were great with communication when she was there for the board and train giving me updates and pics.

Kado was going on 3 years old and needed a ‘nice tune up’ in everyday behavior and Complete Canine was able to help us work through that as a well as getting him more comfortable around other dogs! I would highly recommend going through there private one-on-one classes because they help you understand your dog and why they are behaving the way they are. We also love going to group class!

We adopted a two year old black lab in December of 2022. He’s a great dog, but has some reactivity issues around other dogs. His and our world was shrinking down to nothing and we were reaching the point where it felt like we would be unable to keep him--a frustrating place for people who have had dogs for decades. We started working on a drop-in basis with Lauren, an excellent behavioralist/trainer, who served as an interpreter between the dog and us, and who was extremely patient with our discomfort around using the e-collar (which ended up being exactly the answer). The change in Walter is astonishing and we've gotten tons of compliments, which we should have forwarded on to CCT before now. We did the one on one course then several months later did the remote collar boarding training. We get compliments all the time on how well behaved our dog is. We drove 50 minutes each way to train here. It was well worth it.

Our rescue dog was in need of some fine tuning on manners and reactivity. She had learned Brewer well during his time and was able to answer our many questions with examples of his behavior and direction. We were having leash and behavioral problems with our Pup Maggie so we did the 2 week board and train. We got back a totally different dog with the same personality we came to love. They gave us lessons to take home so we could make sure the training Maggie learned stayed with her. They also made sure to train us as well so we could understand our dog and how we could be better parents.

We have witnessed both dogs walk past other dogs on the leash without entering what Chris called the, “red zone”, and have seen them respond to commands throughout their walks. We both have had family dogs but this was our first dog of our own. Charlie was not a bad puppy by any means but he definitely had his rough patches and I'm sure he was not always the easiest to work with. After three weeks of training he came home a new dog. Walks on leash like a pro, which is a life saver when trying to get some of that energy to go down. Lost most of his seperation anxiety, listens to commands, and overall is a million times more obedient. If you are willing to put in the extra work when you bring your dog home, Complete Canine will give you all the tools and training needed too ensure the good habits do not dissipate. They not only trained our puppy but also trained us on how to keep up the good behavior. After the training we participated in a group class to teach social skills and out pup did a great job in that environment. Later I had asked Chris to come down to Denver to walk us through a refresh because we felt he was acting out. Chris reiterated a few actions we needed to take and he’s been behaving since. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable, he’s honest about the progress and performance, and they regularly check in to ensure our pup is staying the course. I Highly recommend. Even though he was the one who went away for weeks, I feel we humans received equal training and guidance from the handlers at this facility. Chris, Cody, and Chris were all terrific. They each had individualized knowledge and were very patient with both us and Hank as we all tried to take in tons of new information. The biggest difference we saw in them from other trainers is that they seemed to genuinely care about Hank, not just in breaking his bad habits, but in rewarding him and showing him some love. I was truly afraid he wouldn’t be the same goofball we sent away, I was worried they would break his spirit. But they took good care of our boy (all while teaching him that his behaviors wouldn’t be tolerated, and that he didn’t get to make the rules). These guys brought us in for some special training with the baby there, which isn’t typical of what they do but was much appreciated so that we didn’t have to have the first interaction between dog and baby all by ourselves. And ultimately they made sure we were comfortable with everything before taking him home again. 3-week puppy board and training review: As someone who obsessively read all these reviews both before and during Oliver's stay, I wanted to make sure I did my part and provided a review! Oliver is around 4 months, and we had him for about a month before bringing him to Complete Canine Training. He didn't have any behavior issues, we just wanted to provide some foundational training for him that would set him and us up for success! First, we worked with Aija and she was our point of contact through the whole process. She is amazing! Not sure how they found someone so quick, kind, and easy to speak with--rare trilogy of traits. So rest assured that it's very easy to work with them. --- ***Short Review*** So I wanted to wait a week before posting a review of Oliver's progress. The short review is that he's been great and the training has stuck, and has been generalized in other areas. If you're looking for training that'll work, pick this place! ***Long Review*** for those who are curious about an in-depth review of what they train and what it looks like in practice: --The most notable improvement has been walks. It was my biggest focus point with this training. Before it took a long time to take walks, and for a puppy who needs to get his energy out, it made things a little tough. He'd stop at everything, sniff, pause, go in different directions--just get generally distracted by the world. And nothing I'd say would get his attention. Now, with a simple command, he walks beside us! Through short walks and long walks, he remains by us. It's perhaps the biggest improvement of them all, and most appreciated. So if your pup is in a similar situation, I can assure you their training works! --Second is sit and down. What's impressive about this is that they didn't simply train him to sit and lie down--they manage to instill a natural "stay" with these two commands. I'm able to get him to sit or go down, and we can move into other rooms, out of sight, and he's still there when we come back. We can go into Petsmart (full of other pups, mind you) and have him be "down" on the floor, leash out of hand, while we look through the aisle, hold toys in our hand to examine, and so on--and he stays there, waiting for us. --The third main thing they taught him was "place." With this command, he remains on his cot and does not get off, no matter what's going on around him. We've been keeping up his practice by rolling a ball around, tossing it across the room, and he still stays in place (this from a dog that lovessss his toys). What's great about this is that we can use it for other situations where he needs training. For instance, before, when we'd pull out his food bowl and start pouring his food, he would go crazy! Jumping around. So excited. Running around the kitchen island (we're in an apartment, mind you, so you can imagine the noise for those below us!). When he came back from training and he started getting overly excited about food, all we needed to do was say, "Place." He would get down and not move until we poured his food and put it down and released him (yup, he still sits even after we put the food down and until we say "free"). Just doing that a few times, he learned how he gets his food and he remains calm until he gets it. So how they trained him seems to be able to be generalized. --The fourth has been recall--getting him back to us. When we say "here," he runs back to us and sits in front of us. He's not one to bolt, so we haven't really been able to "fully" test this. That said, the times we have tested it, he does exactly that. I can have him get down and I'll walk very far away. He sits there, and when I say "here," he sprints so fast and sits. Important note is they send you home with a pinch collar, so make sure you research those and get comfortable with their design and purpose, as you'll need to use it for reinforcement for a while. If you're looking to get your dog trained, Complete Canine Training is an easy first choice! Less

We had the privilege of bringing home our new baby in October, Tuff E Eady (Border Collie). We had the privilege of bringing home our new baby in October, Tuff E Eady (Border Collie). We did one session when Tuff was about 2 months old which was great and a ton of information for us parents. We took matters into our own hands for a couple of months at which point we scheduled a trip out of town and realized that Tuff was probably to much for my mother in-law to handle. He also at this point listened to my husband much more then myself. We talked to Chris several times before making the decision to send him to “school” while we were gone. When we dropped him off much to our amaze he went right to Chris, we talked about a few things that we would like to happen while we were gone and off we went. This is a dog that has high energy and huge separation anxiety, so I was so relived to know that he was in good hands. While we were gone, Chris was awesome about checking in and letting us know how things were going and Tuff did great. Tuff has been great to deal with the 3 weeks since our return, we also realize that this is a long process that he will not be 100% trained in a couple of weeks. We are now getting ready to head to back to “school” with other classmates and other Moms and Dads are coming along too. We can’t wait for the next step. Our 1 year old "bull in a china closet" Vizsla, Modi, attended the 2 week board and train. Danny performed a "miracle". He came back to us well behaved and listening. We continued on with the weekly group classes and are looking forward to the advanced off-leash classes. These trainers are extremely knowledgeable and truly loves dogs. So happy we found them.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Incredible detail during the consultation, construction of an effective training program, at home services, and group classes?! Got the blessing to work with Chris and his team over the weekend at a seminar he hosted. Chris is a great trainer and has the heart out a lion! If you are in his area, you need to be working with this guy! Great decoy, K9 trainer and pet trainer!

I originally spoke with Chris and he recommended the 2 week board and train and shared the methodology they would use with our dog (Allie) and what we could expect. He was very realistic: they could get help establish a new baseline of behavior with her but that we will need to continue to reinforce it with her when she got home. Danny was our trainer and he was so kind and clearly understands dogs so well. He came up to pick up Allie and gave us a little primer on the training they would do and what we could start working on with our other dog while Allie was gone. When he brought her back two weeks later I hardly recognized her! She was obedient and listening to commands and most importantly seemed more happy, calm, & generally well adjusted. Danny gave us a in depth run down of what we should do to continue reinforcing our training and said that we could always text or call with questions as we're applying it. We did have one question the day after and responded to our question within an hour. Overall, our experience with Canine Complete Training has been amazing: we recommend it hands-down.
