Poor service and bad installation

Bought paint there the other day. Super helpful and friendly. We always keep our money in Lacombe as much as we can and it is a pleasure to support local when we have amazing retailers.

We had carpet installed in two rooms in December. We had paid for LA carpet to move our furniture, and then move it back after the carpet was installed. The installer finished both rooms, and as is usual after new carpet goes down, there is a heck of a mess with the residue from fitting the carpet into place - there were hundreds of little clippings all over both rooms. We had carpet installed in two rooms in December. We had paid for LA carpet to move our furniture, and then move it back after the carpet was installed. The installer finished both rooms, and as is usual after new carpet goes down, there is a heck of a mess with the residue from fitting the carpet into place - there were hundreds of little clippings all over both rooms. He did not vacuum any of these clippings up, and moved our bed, and three dressers back into place overtop the mess. He left and just said, 'I guess you'll have to vacuum' - I was very surprised at this as I have had carpet installed before, and the installer always vacuums up the residue. When I went to pay my bill, I asked the gentleman at LA Carpet about this procedure and he was very surprised the installer had not cleaned up and said they always leave it spic and span. He said he would be speaking to the installer about this. He took our bill and said" let me see what I can do" but when we handed him our visa, he put it through at the full amount - no discount. I was very disappointed with the attitude of both the installer and LA Carpet and for this reason I would not use their services again. Less
