I’ve always known how food impacts your health, and always knew in theory it’s important to workout, but this is the first time I’ve stuck with it long enough to see and feel real results. Sure, I’ve lost inches, but the energy and endurance I have is what I love most in this journey so far. I also was a great excuse maker before. Now, at the busiest, craziest, least-sleep-I’ve-ever-gotten-in-my-life year, I consistently get myself up early and start the day off with a great workout. I couldn’t do it without Patrick, nothing like having a husband who’s your biggest fan and motivator. I’ll add, seeing my parents who, one took care of themselves physically, and only passed away after months of finding out about a too-far-gone organ issue, the other parent slowly doing less and less physically over the years, is now wheelchair bound in a nursing home. One of the greatest things you can do for your kids is TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. This is not a selfish thing.
