Our driver, Rick, was very professional, arrived as scheduled, was friendly and got us safely to our destination. On our return trip on October 9th, we had over a 3 1/2 hour wait for the other person sharing the trip. We knew there would be a wait time, so this was not an issue. We were picked up first, which allowed us to get the two seats together and the other person sat up front. No one had to sit in the "pop up". It was a Dodge van and I have to say it's not the most comfortable. Our driver on the return trip was Barb. She was very professional, friendly and kept us updated about our departure time. We were happy with both of the drivers we had. Other than the vehicle "comfort" (reason for the 4 star) we had no other complaints. Also, I have to mention Becky in the office who was so helpful before our trip. She was great. This was our first time using this kind of service, but it won't be our last. Booked a shuttle for a wine tour with my wife. Our driver Dave was so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area. Excellent service from booking to delivery at Pearson Airport. Driver was great and didn't even get upset when we found the 401 closed in both directions. He hardly batted an eye and hopped on a side road and got us to the airport on time. We even had time for a quick pit stop halfway from Kingston. Great Experience with the folks who picked me up at home on the 18th July and delivered me home on the 7th August. I feel bad that Immigration at Pearson delayed us for over 3 hours but Rick was a real gentleman and understood that we needed to get home after all day travel. The end of that phone call was a confirmation of Denise sending me the contract. There was a strand of exactly 5 emails with questions, but sometimes questions are a part of being a customer. As a consumer looking to rent or purchase a service for such a special day, I feel it necessary to have every aspect clear and confirmed before moving forward with hiring a business. I should not be spoken down to for being thorough. With regard to your contract, the clause that I was not comfortable with and requested clarification on reads “Ontario Coachway reserve the right to substitute vehicles of comparable type and seating numbers based on availability on the day of charter.” This clause makes absolutely no reference to “…the need to switch out any vehicle on the basis of safety or mechanical concerns” as per your statement in your above reply. If this is what that particular clause is referencing, I highly suggest that a clarification be added into your contract in order to avoid any future confusion as the current clause is extremely vague and can be left to interpretation. Finally I am extremely disappointed in the fact that shortly after I wrote this review, you felt it necessary to seek out my Google Business page which has no connection to this situation or review whatsoever and spitefully write a 1 Star review when we in fact, have never done any real estate business together. If nothing else, the spitefulness and illegitimacy that you have shown by writing a fake review truly speaks for itself. Google Review is there for customers to share their personal experiences with a company. I simply shared my experience. ..................... ***CAUTION***This company has terrible customer service! Take caution when booking with them. I spoke with one of their representatives this past Friday and got a quote for two coach buses we were going to rent for our wedding. I told Denise we would like to move forward with using their company and she told me she would send over a contract for me to sign and email back on the following Monday as they are closed on weekends. She took my personal information and my credit card info and assured me that I could sign and return the contract to them on Monday. On Monday, I sent the contract back to them first thing in the morning but got no confirmation email, no reply, nothing. I called the company to confirm the receipt of my email and to clarify a few clauses they have in the contract, and was told Denise was busy and I needed to leave a message so she could call me back. No phone call. This morning, I get an email saying that they have already booked one of the coach buses that was supposed to be on hold for me!!! READ THEIR CONTRACT CAREFULLY! There is a clause in their contract that says they can, at any point, change or swap out the vehicle you originally rented, so on the day of your event you could end up with a completely different type of vehicle and have no say in the matter. For a wine tour it might not be so bad, but for something like a wedding, it would be awful to book a coach bus, and end up with two minivans or another combination of vehicles! Their lack of communication, and common courtesy is outrageous and I would take caution when booking with them - pretty sketchy way to retain new business. Less

Great service. I have used them a couple times. Easy to find at the airport and the drivers are always friendly. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable, stress free way to travel from Pearson to your home.

Anyplace that picks me up at my door, takes me to airport, then back to my door deserves 5 stars. i use them quit often for work. The drivers are professional, friendly, safe and reliable. I don't have to worry about driving, the road conditions or parking. Its all taken care of. Will use them again for my my next trip.

Terrible service for seniors. We had five passengers in a small van. Three were seniors. There was no step stool to assist them with getting in the van so each struggled quite a bit to get in and the driver was no help. Terrible service for seniors. We had five passengers in a small van. Three were seniors. There was no step stool to assist them with getting in the van so each struggled quite a bit to get in and the driver was no help. Also, there wasn't enough room for luggage, even though we each only had 1 medium sized suitcase. Because the luggage area was full, a walker was put in with the passengers, leaning against one of the passengers the entire trip from the airport. Not only was it uncomfortable for the woman, it was unsafe. The driver drove between 90 kph and 125 kph on the 401. I never want to go in a vehicle with this driver again and I will have second thoughts about using this company in the future. I tried to reply to your comments below but there was no place to put them. So to respond, I could see the speedometer by leaning forward over the right shoulder of the passenger in front of me. As well, I know the walker was leaning on a passenger because it was my mother it was leaning on. Had the driver slammed on his brakes, the walker would have gone forward. It's too bad the other passengers didn't give you the truth in their responses, or perhaps they were just happy to put the experience behind them. Less

I called to cancel my private car reservation shortly after making it by phone as I have found a more affordable means of transportation. This was two days before travel and the agent confirmed that my reservation has been cancelled and my credit card was not charged yet anyway. However the night before travel they called me to say there was no record of cancellation and the card has already been charged. At that point they gave me two options, either 50% fee to cancel or to keep the reservation as is. Apparently my reservation was not cancelled as I requested two days ago and I was stuck with using their service. Very unprofessional tactic and you should avoid them. Less

Great service to the airport with professional and clean drivers.

Service worked great on the way to the airport, but on the way home, after a 3.5 hour wait and confusion about luggage that was pre-booked, we finally left the airport on the return trip. I won't be booking the service again for an arriving flight.

I needed to get to Kingston from the airport to catch a conference in 2014. I used Ontario Coachway because they offered private airport service. My family was travelling with me, including a one month old baby. When I called them up to book, they were polite and told me that they could help me out. I asked them if I needed to bring my baby's car seat, they asked me how old he was and I said, one month. The girl on the other line said, "no problem, we have car seats available here that you can use." I went ahead with the booking. Day of my travel came and 40 mins before I boarded the plane, they called me to say that they don't have a car seat for my baby. I said, I was told at the time that I booked that they have one and I even told them how old my baby was. The girl on the other line, named Kim, was irritated and told me "Well, it's not our problem. Now, what do you want me to do?" Mind you, I paid these guys $350 to receive this tremendous amount of stress and rudeness. I was extremely disappointed with the way they handled the situation. The only redeeming grace was that their driver was friendly and polite. Nevertheless, this company should train their 'phone operators' on customer service and to not promise anything to their customers. Less
