Dive with Cristina

I just completed my Open Water Diver certification with Mexican Diver Cozumel – Diving with Cristina (PADI Store #29531),, and I honestly don’t think I could’ve learned this from anyone else. My main instructor was a male teacher (Fernando)equal parts first sergeant and underwater guru — firm, practical, and no-nonsense in the best possible way. He didn’t coddle, but he did care. He taught with absolute clarity, high standards, and the kind of calm authority that made me trust him with my life — which, let’s be honest, you kind of are when you’re learning to breathe underwater. What made the experience even better was the balance: later in the course, Florencia stepped in, bringing her own energy — warm, intuitive, and supportive. Between the two of them, I felt like I got the full spectrum of what good instruction should be: technical mastery and human connection.Let me give a shout out to Javier as well -he is with my friends who are advanced. So I didn’t see him quite as much. But he is lightning, quick super intense and way amazing. If you’re serious about learning to dive and want instructors who take your safety, skills, and experience seriously — with zero fluff — this is the team. I’m beyond grateful and officially hooked.(I’am booking my advanced course w/ them now)
