I called Klis Brothers and Tony answered the phone and listened to my dilemma. He was up for the challenge and treated my problems as if they were his. He was very clear in the time frame of how long diagnostic and repairs would take. He was very patient with me through out the process and had explained how they operate and what to expect so I agreed to have him tow my car to his shop where I met his Master Tech Alex. We talked and I knew right away he had the experience to figure out and actually Trouble Shoot and Diagnose the Real Solution. It turned out that my Ecu was not communicating or putting out enough voltage. Tony found a Pre-Programmed ECU, so not only did he save me money on a programmer but the headache of getting the part. After installing the Ecu Alex changed the vin on the Ecu to match in order for the car to communicate with the scanner to find out the ignition coil pack #4 went bad and melted. They even went above and beyond to make sure my oil was good after sitting for so long and they found that gas had diluted into the oil so they changed the oil and battery while they were at it to ensure the reliability of my vehicle. Just had car towed through AAA, worst experience ever. Will be canceling my membership because of service provided by klis brothers north shore. Tow operator was rudest driver. Left my son's car 4 feet from the curb and when I asked if he was leaving car there he said yep and got in truck and left. Had to get 2 neighbors to come out and push car to curb. Went there to replace all 4 tires after having mine for over 6 years. They came highly recommended by so many and am pleased with the tires and the alignment service. I needed the car early the next day and they had it ready when I arrived. Everyone was truly accommodating. I definitely would return there for any other car issues.

They did my timing belt. I had over 200k miles on car. It a 2006 Toyota minivan. They understood the meaning of SAFETY first!!!! They were dispatched to give me a jump by AAA. I got a text from the driver Joseph K saying he was at my location but he was not. When he couldn't find me instead of calling me to determine my correct location he put the call in as completed with AAA and left me stranded.

My car was towed to Klis on Friday because it was not starting ! Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. I needed a new battery which they put in right away and also did a few other things. They had it all done by the end of the day on Friday! Reasonable prices too. I had an excellent experience. They were able to squeeze me in the same day, without appointment. They diagnosed the issue and fixed it with no upsell. The technician were skilled pro at their job. It would NEVER would show a bad cell in the battery from extreme temperature changes. I told him these facts and he said, "Don't tell me I know what I am doing and don't raise your voice." AAA sent this company to check my charging system when my alternator went while i was at work, which i knew was the problem before i called them. Ron came and was a very nice man, and advised me to call AAA back to have my car taken to my mechanic. I had explained to him that i didn't want to risk driving to pick up my 18 month old son, only to have my car shut down on the highway. They sent TJ to tow my car, and solicited his shop (which they aren't supposed to do) and told me i would get a discount on the repair. They took my car to their shop that night. I called MY mechanic in the morning, who told me it would be $350 plus tax for the repair. This place told me i needed a new battery and a belt as well (Ron had already told me my battery was fine), and it would cost $840. Needless to say, I called AAA back, and had this company tow my car to MY mechanic in Sayville. I guess they thought i didnt know any better, yet i worked in the automotive industry for 8 years lol. While only having two tires available at the moment, you went passed the extraordinary to get the other two plus the spare! The guys in the back working with the car did a great job, anything I asked they answered and also allowed me to quick inspect under the car, they changed the filters as well and double checked for any extra issues carefully and thanks again for advising me to drive the spare tire in the rear side of the car! I'm in SHOCK about how much this place charged me to install a new car battery and make sure there wasn't anything else going on with the battery. Over $300! (including $197 for an Exide Sprinter Max sx35.. Really???) I'll definitely be going elsewhere in the future!

Very nice people but looking to take anyone's last dime. Thinks people dont know their own cars and says their are things wrong with the car when in fact nothing is wrong at all. Astronomically priced and has different prices than the actual Firestone branches. Placing a bad name out there for the companies they branch off from. Will not be stepping foot in the foot again.
