I decided to join this gym one month ago. I was a bit hesitant as I had never done this type of workout before. To be perfectly honest, I was worried I would look ridiculous! I pushed myself to join nonetheless, reminding myself that my health should be a top priority. This gym did not disappoint me. Despite my lack of experience at lifting, I quickly learned and was able to take part in all of the classes. The coaches helped me. They have a lot of knowledge and make you feel at ease regardless of your skill level. They challenge you, motivate you and actually make the workout enjoyable. The only thing you have to do is show up and try your best! The other members, many of which are SUPER fit and extremely skilled, were encouraging as well and never made me feel like I did not belong there. I made new friends and even reconnected with an old friend from high school! Such an amazing experience. So glad I decided to join and make my health a priority! I started OCFit using their ramp up program which gave me one on one coaching on what to expect at a regular class. It was super helpful! Since starting regular classes I find the instructors super helpful, patient, and always happy to help when I’m unsure of what to do or if I have any questions. I had been wanting to join a CrossFit gym for a long time, but was always too intimidated to make the jump. I decided to start with an in person consultation, which led me to join the “Ramp Up” program - so happy I did! The Ramp Up program was a great one-on-one introduction to CrossFit with an incredible coach (thanks Nat!), and made me feel confident to start taking part in the classes on my own. Now I find myself looking forward to my 6:30am classes (I never thought I would be a morning workout person but here I am). The other members and coaches are friendly, encouraging and inspiring! I finally made the right move after years of dreaming to join CrossFit. I joined OCFIT at the end of May2024. I have made the best decision EVER. I was definitely intimidated when I first walked in the door seeing how different it was compared to a regular gym. The coaches at OCFit are welcoming and amazing and right from the beginning. I signed up for the “RAMP UP” which the coach will show you what CrossFit is all about. That made me less intimidated and ready to start and crush my workouts. I joined OCFit in September 2023 and it was hands down the best decision I ever made for my mental and physical health. Trying CrossFit was something I had wanted to try for a long time and it exceeded my expectations. OC fit not only has that but the community aspect is better than any spot I’ve been to. Crossfit has been part of my daily routine for the past 2 years, and a huge part of my success in staying involved has been the team at OCFIT. From 6am classes to 6pm classes, the coaches are always eager to see everyone walk through their doors, and crush a workout with them. The facility and equipment is always clean and in great condition, and the programming is something to look forward to! Seems appropriate as I approach my 1 year membership at OCFIT that I provide some feedback on my CrossFit experience. For quite a while my son-in-law had been “encouraging” me to try CrossFit. I had never really gone to a gym with any regularity nor did I see myself in any of the videos I watched. But when OCFit introduced the legend class for 55 and over I decided to try it. 12 months in and I love it. I hate missing a class. I look forward to Coach Kyle and the rest of the class challenging me for an hour twice a week and I feel stronger than I ever have. It’s the best. Less

I came to OCFit 2 years ago. I was not "athletic" and had only heard of Crossfit. I had no idea what i was getting into. It has been one of the best decisions ever. The coaches are so welcoming and supportive. They want you to succeed and to be safe in doing so. They take the time to help you master movements. I have learned so much since joining. I joined OCFIT in August 2022 so I’m still fairly new to the world of CF. I love going there and I’m so glad I chose OCFIT to start my CrossFit journey with. I suffered from an ankle injury in July 2022 and every time there is a WOD or part of the WOD that is difficult for me to complete, the coaches help me scale it down or change it to fit my abilities. The coaches are amazing and very encouraging. I definitely have a long way to go before I can climb that rope but at OCFIT I’m confident that I’ll get there. Less
