Now, why would I want to buy the same machine manufacture the same, most likely brake again. I originally purchased a Technogym Artis Climb that was listed as an overstocked, manufacturer liquidated product. They did not process my order for 3 weeks after payment even though the listing stated that it would ship within 3 days. When I called to inquire, I was given the run around and hung up on multiple times. A rep from SFE called 2 days later to say the Artis Climb I ordered was out of stock, but they had other lower priced models I could order. My instincts immediately told me to cancel, and I requested to cancel my order. The rep said I could only cancel by email. That was super sketch and the reason for that only made sense when it was too late. To avoid the hassle of being given another run around, I researched and chose one of the lower prices models they claimed was available. I was assured that it was also an overstocked model and that I had been refunded the difference, which would go back to my original form of payment in a few days. I received a notification the next day that my order shipped. I paid for Premium Delivery (white glove service). On delivery day, FedEx abandoned the equipment in my elevator lobby, stating that the delivery didn’t include in-home services. When I called SFE, they claimed that FedEx didn’t deliver inside apartments. They had lied about offering white glove services to bait customers into ordering. FedEx also didn’t wait around for me to confirm that the equipment was in working condition as promised on the SFE website. Once I managed to haul the 400lbs machine into my apartment and removed the packaging, I realized that SFE had sent me a filthy, heavily used equipment with multiple broken parts. Technogym customer support also confirmed through the serial number that the equipment was not liquidated by them but had belonged previously to a country club. This meant that I had been sent a preowned item that was listed as liquidated. This is fraudulent because their pricing distinguishes items accordingly by tiers of preowned, liquidated, and new. The scam wasn’t even over. SFE kept giving me the runaround whenever I inquired about why I hadn’t received the difference between my original order and the lower priced item back to my original form of payment (about $2000). After a back and forth with their “customer service”, I received an email with a gift card for store credit for the $2000 price difference. Their audacity is horrifying. In a nutshell, SFE fraudulently listed an item as in-stock when it wasn’t, didn’t notify me for almost three weeks until I reached out to inquire, and then switched my order to a lesser product that happened to be in-stock. They then sent me a pre-owned, broken item that was listed as a liquidated product on their website, failed to highlight the damages in their listing, baited and switched out the shipping service, and are now attempting to refund the difference they owe on the original order as store credit. To justify this fraudulent behavior, they claimed that I cancelled my order outside of their 48-hr commitment period. They effectively baited me with an “out of stock” item and categorized their failure to deliver a product I ordered as a cancellation. This is blatant fraud and going by the other similar reviews, it is clear that this is their intentional, regular pattern of business. If you buy ANYTHING here, you will be scammed. I hope this business is investigated by relevant authorities and eventually shut down or made to pay for the bold scams they are perpetuating against unsuspecting folks whose only crime was to trust a small business. I tried over and over but could not reach anyone. So I kept sending emails and emails. I was told to send them pictures. I did. The second guy gave up because no one was helping us. I finally got through to a nice lady on the 3rd day and she said that there was only one person working REMOTE in Customer Service, and I couldn't talk to them because they only communicate through emails. Well I sent tons and tons of emails and was told I need to be patient. I sent emails saying I had 3 different men on 3 different days trying to assemble this machine and none of them can get this part inserted. They said those were the correct parts and the machine should be able to be assembled. Well if 3 different guys have tried and can't do it then the machine must be defective or the part must need to be replaced. After I said I wanted a refund, I would send back the machine or could they send out someone who could assemble their machine...all of a sudden all my emails were being returned to me UNDELIVERED. I was so upset thinking they blocked my emails and that's the only way to communicate with Customer Service! I called the lady on the phone back and she said that she would look into it. I asked if I could speak to a Manager and she said the Manager was on VACATION. I couldn't believe it. I have paid for 3 men to assemble this machine and none of them can so I call this Company for help and no one can help me. Customer Services can only be reached by email and my emails were ALL RETURNED or REJECTED. They were UNDELIVERABLE. And the Manager was on Vacation. Unbelievable!! Terrible Customer Service! I was so frustrated that no one could help me and I tried for 3 days with a machine I can't use because no one can assemble it. I wasted so much time that I took off from work to be here for the men to try to assemble the machine and spent so much money $$$$ trying to get this machine assembled. I will never buy another machine that is unassembled again. Either this machine was defective or the parts were. From all the hammering the guy was doing because they told him to keep trying, it has to fit, now the parts are damaged and I don't have a machine after spending almost $2000 for it, not to mention the hundreds of dollars I paid the men I hired to assemble this machine (and one of them was recommended by Sports & Fitness Exchange) and none of them could assemble it. I'm so disappointed that I couldn't get anyone to help me after buying a machine from this Company. Less

Only word to describe my purchase experience - INCOMPETENT!! I know other customers have left positive reviews on this merchant (which is the reason I bought from them) but I purchased a TechnoGym Artis Vario from S&E Exchange on 6/5/2024. After more than a week with no shipping update, I started calling them for tracking details. I called 4 times over the next two weeks trying to get an update and was always told "let me check with my shipping manager and someone will call you back.", which never happened. Finally, I learned that they hadn't processed the order because the unit color (which is black on their website) is actually brown and they needed me to confirm that it would be ok(which it was), I can only assume my order was delayed for 2 weeks because they were too lazy to call me back. But the really frustrating part of my experience is that I paid for first floor, in-home delivery (pictured below) but when FedEx arrived the driver said in-home delivery wasn't on the order and due to the weight (almost 500 lbs) there was no way he could get it in the house. (and he had already taken it off the truck). I called S&E and they were no help, their response was "our records indicate that you paid for in-home delivery so you can either take delivery as-is and we'll refund the in-home delivery charge or you can refuse delivery and we'll contact FedEx". (typical!) Now I have a 500lb piece of equipment sitting my garage that I have to figure out how to get inside my house because the people at S&E not only did a poor job processing my order but also screwed up by forgetting to include in-home delivery on the FedEx shipment! I can't help but wonder what else might go wrong once I unwrap it and manage to get it in the house...is it even going to work??? Maybe I'm the only one with such a poor purchase experience, maybe this was just a fluke and usually customers have a great experience purchasing from S&E...but I'll never purchase from them again and my purchase experience was a COMPLETE FAIL!! UPDATE - I just inspected the elliptical and discovered that it has multiple broken parts and the screen doesn't work. I'm sharing pictures of the damaged parts and a video showing that the screen turns on but doesn't respond to touch so it won't get past the "Hello" screen. And as far the the $1000 discount for my troubles (as noted in the seller's response to my original post), that discount was offered by the seller before I made the purchase. After three attempts to get them on the phone so I can return the item, nobody is answering my call so I had to leave a message. In February, my fiance and I decided to go browse with no expectations of buying anything unless it caught our eye. We checked out the home gym, it has a squat rack, cables, and a smith machine. Pretty much everything you could need combined into one piece of equipment. They were running a deal on it, again.. couldn’t pass it up. We browsed around some more because I wanted a rower to add to my collection of torture machines, and I found a concept2 rower sitting there just screaming my name. We purchased both the home gym and the rower and went on our merry way. We were told it was going to be in stock and ready for delivery in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, due to delays, I was told it was going to be pushed back another couple of weeks. They added on a few free items just for the inconvenience. I called back after the first deadline and it was unfortunately another 2 weeks of waiting. Finally, I called the first week of April and they said the home gym was set to be delivered to the warehouse that week. Within 24 hours, I had confirmation that it was ready to be delivered and installed!! It was a long wait, but given the fact that most companies have a 6-8 week shipping estimate for such large pieces of equipment, it wasn’t that big of a deal. We had it delivered and set up on Friday. The bar for the smith machine was unfortunately not the correct one, but they came back on Monday with another bar and installed it for us. We live in BFE Buckeye so it’s not a short drive. The concept2 works wonderfully as well, and we look forward to buying more equipment from them in the future. Less

Customer service is severely lacking when trying to get help on orders. Purchased a weight rack after seeing it in person at the store and after getting home noticed I was given an open box and some of the parts to assemble were missing. No help yet in fixing the issue. very disappointed.

For now it gets a 1 star rating until customer service (hopefully) resolves the issues of my purchase. Went in store to look around and ended up purchasing a weight rack. Get home to realize I was not given all my parts to assemble. Now they are stating "the unit does not come with those pieces" even though it's advertised in the store with it.

Have been going to SFE since they had their Peoria location and have never had a bad experience. Their prices are competitive and they have a huge selection. Just went and bought a few place and Denise Gonzalez helped, phenomenal service. I would definitely recommend to all family, friends, and fellow gym rats.

Tim was quick to respond on Instagram and we came in a day later. The warehouse is packed with equipment and he was super helpful in person! I purchased A Nordictrack Fs14i Freestrider from your company in Dec 12th 2023 the freestrider broke Feb 27 2024. I called the only phone I had and left a message for Denise( my salesperson ). After not hearing back I called again the next day and Denise answered the phone and explained that their customer service team would be able to help but they did not a phone # for them that i would have to send an email with photos and someone would reach back to me. Today Feb 29 2024 I missed a call from Rachael. I called her back and she explained to me that in 12 days my purchased extended warranty would kick in and that it would be faster just to wait and call them. I explained that i did not want to wait. Rachael then said it would be better to wait because if they had to order parts that it would take longer then if I just wanted. I told her that it sound like she was not wanting to stand behind the product that her company sold to me. She then told me that was not the case and when I told her that it sounded like i was going to get caught between them and extended warranty she said that was not the case and that she was going to end the call and email the information to me, I asked for the phone to the extended warranty she refused to give to be and informed me she was ending the call. I own customer service business and if I treated my customers how I was treated I would not have customers very long. My feeling is that this company has no intention in wanting to stand behind the products that sell. Rachael made sure to tell me that they are a small business, well in my opinion if they don't take care of your customers and don't stand behind their products , the business will not grow. I don't do many reviews but i hope I hear back from someone besides Rachael at your company. Less

If you need fitness equipment buy it from Sports & Fitness Exchange, they are amazing!! I reached out to customer service with a question, they were quick to answer and even helped perfect my order to my needs. I will definitely be placing future orders with them.
