Where do I start? This place has had such a positive impact on my son and even myself as a spectator. My son has started doing better at school, better listening at home, and just overall better behaved.

Every person involved in this program is so respectful and kind to the kids and parents. They make a point to learn who your child is immediately and they remember their students. That speaks volumes. Great family business!!

This place is absolutely amazing, not only do they teach karate, but they also teach values, respect and kindness! They teach kids how to believe in themselves, and build up their confidence. I highly recommended Fournier's Leadership Karate.

Perhaps TMI, but I ll share I'm a 60 yr old getting started again,after my jogging becoming too high impact for me,,I was of average fitness status,could stand to lose a few #'s, as I started Karate class,,,the classes are a great multi level workout and improve fitness, flexibility and endurance ,,,I anticipate getting my Black belt in a reasonable time frame, (should I choose to pursue it),,,they make it easy,step by step,the instruction is superb,so I likely will do so, within my own time frame. On a side note ,I will share I've worked as a Pediatric RN for 20+ yrs and am very familiar with necessary strategies for working with kids successfully,,,they employ these strategies expertly with the kids with optimal results,,,to my amazement, I observed the Fournier Team successfully teaching, ",Gratitude","Respect","Responsibility",as foundation principles for Karate,,Wow!,,that is truly Amazing in this day and age!!! Kids have a wonderful opportunity to become empowered,fit, learn some self discipline, defense, and Leadership skills within the Karate practice,, Nowadays,that's a priceless and very rare opportunity imo,,,, I am happy to see such opportunities for kids- and adults still exist nowadays! Such a wonderful experience. My 6 year old is a "little ninja" and the entire staff is so amazing! The whole experience is focused on "doing my best" and every kid is encouraged regardless of their skill level.

Fournier's teaches kids respect and responsibility. If you want to move up, you have to earn it. The after-school program is great. I have seen a big improvement in my grandson's attitude. Parents can sit and watch and will probably learn a thing or two.

My son has only been to 3 classes so far, but he absolutely loves it. Every time it’s “karate night” he gets so excited! The energy level of the teachers and their ability to keep an entire room of 5/6 year olds focused and engaged (at the end of a school day no less!) is incredible. I would definitely recommend this program to others, because so far it has exceeded my expectations!

My daughter started with the 6 week introduction program and fell in love with Karate! She's learning lessons in class that help at home! She listens better and is always excited for class. She loves each interaction and I love how the instructors get my daughter to focus in a fun way! If you're on the fence sign up for the trial program and see if your kids lights up like mine does!!

My daughter is in the after school program. She loves every second that she is there. The time and effort the staff puts in to these kids is amazing. Bella is very loved by the owner and he tells me how proud he is of her. He has given my daughter lessons on respect, self care, and how to keep herself safe. We love Fournier’s and will be apart of their Karate family for a long time!!

We love Fournier's Karate. They are amazing with the children. My son has been attending classes now for 3 years since he was 4 years old. The confidence and self control he has learned is fantastic. He has learned self respect and respect of others, as well as hard work to achieve his goals. He would live at the studio if we would let him. I would highly recommend this studio for all ages.

Took a kickboxing class early in the month. It was free since it was my first. Fournier's was great and very enjoyable. Unfortunately I have a schedule conflict with the classes I am interested in taking, so I was unable to join. Yet I feel that had I had a schedule that would work, I would be entirely happy with the instructors and this Karate center, I highly recommend.

My daughter is halfway through her second year here as a student, and LOVES it. Maria and Tony are great with the kids, and they train the young staff members to be equally competent and relate well with the kids. They are firm, and set high expectations, but kind and fair.

Great staff. Great attitude and lots of intensity in teaching styles. It really is a fun place to help your child learn the importance of confidence, discipline and just being your best. I love to listen to the wrap up talk after the class has ended. The kids really listen to Kyoshi.

I take 2 boys to karate every week. They really get into it and they are progressing very rapidly. It is an excellent program for any child who wants to learn and to be challenged.

FOURNIER's LEADERSHIP IS THE BEST.... It was the best decision made for my daughter Jade to get into class. She has loved it from day one. She has been going on & off for years & she is still going strong. Just stinks that she has to start all over again from the beginning. Thats ok she will get her black belt soon enough.... THANK YOU

The Location at 55 Warren Ave is no longer a Marital Arts Center and is now only a gym. The Martial Arts Center has moved down the road and seems to be run by Tony Fournier. The gym however, appears to be run by new group of owners, yet for whatever reason retained the name Fournier’s Fitness. Since the new owners have taken over they have sold workout equipment, moved the men’s locker room to wh... More

Recently I determined this gym was no longer for me and I wanted to warn others of the deteriorating situation at this gym. Lastly if you do give this gym a shot, I would recommend only purchasing a day pass so as you can experience why a long-term contract might not be for you. Less
