Had a fabulous experience the other week on a photoshoot with my two dachshunds. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but Jonathan really knew his stuff and the end result was wonderful. We chose Jonathan to photograph our three very elderly whippet boys knowing the images would probably be some of the last we would have of them. What we hadn’t anticipated was how true to their individual characters those images would be. From first contact to the day we collected our stunning prints Jonathan provided a friendly but professional service that put us and our dogs completely at ease … so much so that the dogs wandered about all over the studio investigating everything and yet Jonathan still managed to patiently capture a huge number of shots for us to choose from. We now recommend Jonathan to all our friends and will be visiting him again soon with our new rescue Galgo pup. Less

I had a photo session with Jonathan in April 2022 and I'm OBSESSED with the finished product! Prior to the photo shoot Jonathan sent me a questionnaire for me to fill in with all details about my dog, so he could get to know him, his personality, etc + give him an idea of what product I was interested in. Jonathan could then use this information to capture my dog's personality perfectly during the photoshoot! Although my dog is used to being photographed and (mostly) good off lead, he's still very boisterous and can get distracted by other dogs when off lead, but Jonathan brought lots of toys and different things to keep my dog's attention. The entire photo shoot was a whole experience and fun for me too. I completely trusted Jonathan and my dog did too! Afterwards, I went to the studio to see all the photos and to choose my favourites. Seeing the photos of my beautiful boy made me so emotional, and being the indecisive person that I am, it was very hard to choose my favourites out of all the amazing photos! Jonathan let me take all the time I needed and was extremely patient and helpful. The finished product was absolutely AMAZING, and I couldn't be happier! I would 100% recommend Jonathan! Less

We had a location shoot in the beautiful Hope Mountain Park, our three girls are quite lively and we were worried that we would get any good shots. Jonathon was friendly, professional and patient with us and our girls putting us at ease. We loved the shoot and our girls showing off. While we took our girls home and settled them, Jonathon explained he was going back to the studio to organise a viewing for us if the images he had taken. We arrived at the studio and was quite taken back by the way our images were portrayed. A slide show projected on to a large screen while we sat in comfy chairs admiring our beautiful girls, it was quite overwhelming. Jonathon let use choose our favourites, there was no hard sell or pressure to buy but advised us on little details showing his expertise. I was a little concerned about the cost of everything, when offered a discount through Facebook, there’s normally a catch right? No, Jonathon gave me everything he had offered at the time of booking and we were happy with our investment. Jonathon has kept in touch, our artwork has arrived and we are extremely proud of it, sits pride of place in our living room and every time I look at it, it makes me smile. Prior to meeting, we were given the opportunity to detail what our dogs were like, and what we were hoping to get from the session. My two are safe & reliable off lead but otherwise are quite different: one is very capable of a “stay” for photos, is sociable, but doesn’t like being petted or other dogs close to his face (so needed to be away from out-of-control “friendly” dogs who might charge at him), and my other is just a wiggle-butt that struggles to stay still for photos! Jonathan assured me this was all very manageable. At the session Jonathan was super patient and understanding of both pups, and really worked to get the best out of them. He used various locations in the park, different lighting and had a bag of tricks up his sleeve (all positive) for managing the dogs’ positions. It was such a fun time! When we saw the photos I couldn’t help but get emotional, because he’d captured both dogs so beautifully. It was hard to know which to choose, but Jonathan was really helpful in directing to some of the best shots, and with selecting frames. Prior to the session, we’d been offered the chance to take snaps at home of where we’d like the photos to hang - this proved very useful when selecting framed picture sizes, so I highly recommend this to others. We now have three pics of our beloved spaniels hanging in pride of place at home - we love them. Our dogs just aren’t with us for long enough in life, and every moment they’re with us is a privilege. We had a wonderful day spent with Jonathan in March of this year, as he took lots of fabulous photographs of our Working Cocker Spaniel Charlie, where he was able capture her character & personality. The setting of the session is in a country park near his studio was a perfect place. We especially liked the viewing session, it made the whole day perfect and where we picked 2 of the photographs to be framed by him and they are wonderful. We would recommend that if you are looking to have photographs taken of your pet, then book Jonathan. Less
