Also was very informative about several options I had with things that could be added (enlarged downspouts, alu-rex and zip hinges. And he advised to extend some downspouts along the roof line to help save on wear and tear on the shingles which was a perfect idea. When install day arrived one of his employees Mathieu arrived. Did a bunch of research into companies that install aluminum soffits, fascia, eavestroph, downspouts and decided to go with Chinook exteriors. After signing off on the quote, the turn around was quick and the quality of work was amazing. They returned to deal with a small warranty issue with no issues. It's been such a long winter, but on less cold days we noticed that one downspout stayed frozen at the bottom, while the other eavestroughs melted. So it was causing the water to overflow and as it re-froze, it created an icy patch on the walk way and ice build-up above the garage. We had this same issue before we got all new eavestroughs, so we were stumped on what was causing it. We called up Jean-Francois at Chinook Exteriors, and he couldn't have been better. He took the time to come by to take a look at the issue and came up with a few different solutions for us. Chinook Exteriors ended up replacing that downspout and re-positioning it so that it was exposed more to the sun, and it was free of charge. I think this speaks volumes about the company, and the owner Jean-Francois. It's hard to find reliable contractors these days, but you can trust these guys. They obviously take a lot of pride in there work and won't leave you hanging if you have a problem. Even in our case well after the job was done, over half a year later. They clearly stand behind their customer satisfaction guarantee. He was so friendly and professional, and his quote was so reasonable for the amount of work needed, that we decided right off the bat that we wanted to go with Chinook Exteriors. Jason came out to install the new eavestroughs, downspouts, splash guards and drip edge above the garage. He was so nice too and did such a beautiful job. Our eavestroughs look like the ones on the new homes now - actually better! I really like how they run along the fence in the backyard - so modern and much more efficient. They also added little straps on the eavetroughs so they fold neatly for mowing the lawn. Everything was cleaned up perfectly too.
