I stopped in on a random Tuesday afternoon with the intent of having lunch and a glass of wine. The staff on duty, Amber and Wendy, greeted me immediately and warmly, seated me and promptly took my order. The new menu I expected to be good, but it surprised me with the selection of near gourmet offerings, the presentation and quantity, especially for the price. After eating lunch I enjoyed a couple of whiskey drinks, great conversation with Richard, owner and curator, and "quickly" spent almost 3 hours relaxing with the folks at 1442. This unique and casual spot is a must visit on the square in Clarksville. BTW I will be returning to take in the live music during evenings very soon. Less
