Great CrossFit gym! Lise, the owner, is friendly and welcoming, and Harvey, the gym’s adorable Golden Retriever manager, is always happy to help—including putting the weights away.Very convenient for drop-ins if you’re staying in the University District. Highly recommended!

Did a drop in and everyone was very sweet and helpful. The owner was quick to answer over email. The coaching was super good and everyone was friendly. I would definitely recommend going here if you want a good crossfit workout.

I was nervous about starting CrossFit due to my age and injuries but the team at CFS are amazing as they scale/adjust the workouts to your level, accommodate any physical limitations and very friendly atmosphere! After 50 classes, I have lost 17 lbs and feel great!

Amazing place to train!! The coaches are incredibly patient and take the time to teach proper technique, no matter your fitness level. From your very first class everyone is friendly and welcoming making it easy to feel comfortable.

I’ve been attending classes at CrossFit Sunalta for 6 months. I’d consider myself a ‘casual cross fitter’ attending twice a week. I love the classes, it’s always challenging, and I am comfortable scaling any exercise. I appreciate the instruction at the start of every class, as I can work on technique. I’ve been to other gyms where there is no or very little consistent technique work, at the expense of possible injury. Great group of instructors and participants.

My wife and I had a workout at CrossFit Sunalta this morning while visiting Calgary, and were immediately welcomed by coach Greg and made to feel at home. Great explanations of all the movements, excellent facility - very organized and tidy and great workout. Highly recommend!
