We had been working with another loan officer for months and were getting nowhere.... we were very frustrated and angry with the process .We decided to move our paperwork to West Coast mortgage and somehow ended up with Russell. I was a little hesitant when Russell Conness of West Coast Mortgage Group (WCMG) reached out to me for my home mortgage loan as I was already working with two other nationally known lenders. However the rates, closing costs and time to close he was promising were far better than what I was being offered. Just to make sure they were legit I looked up WCMG in the BBB (they had great reviews) and Russell Conness in the NMLS consumer access website and they both checked out so I felt confident going forward. Well I am so glad that Russell called me because he delivered everything as promised. I had a lot of questions for Russell and he always took my calls, txt msgs and was prompt to assist while the other two nationally known lenders lagged or just did not return my calls. We closed on time and when the mobile Notary Public came over to our house for signing she said we got a really great rate, best she had seen. Her comment solidified my decision in giving West Coast Mortgage my business and I commended Russell for doing such a great job. I've purchased a few homes and have refi'd homes in the past and I can honestly say that my experience with Russell at WCMG has been the best. Owner/Broker followed up and took charge of the issues raised in my original review. Assigned an experienced loan officer who was very responsive and took over the application intake. She is very responsive, follows up and now looks to be on top of the refi needs. Does not respond timely. Does not provide reliable accurate information on a loan refi quote. Does not respond to calls timely. Vague "quote" for loan costs, rates, times to record, etc. Treats a borrower as if it is a privileges to speak to the loan officer, once they decide to take a call. All working from home and never in the office. Requests documentation that is NOT appropriate tot eh loan requested. Typical Sales Tactics to lock you in. Assurances can not be relied upon. Unnecessary delays, unprofessional, poor, business practices, especially by the "Senior Mortgage Loan Originator". Less

Highly Recommended! I have used Robert and Co for the last couple of years in home refi and purchasing needs. He's come through for me every single time. This last time we used him, we refinanced, 30 days later, we decided to sell our home and buy a new one. Our refinance experience with Michael Xavier was so easy. I'm used to mortgage companies initially quoting a low rate/ payment and then calling me to discuss a huge payment change right before closing. When Michael quoted us a great refi rate and payment, I kept waiting for the inevitable "something went wrong" phone call. It never came.
