But I had to stop going there because after two months I was doing so well, but there is one doctor that had no idea about how to properly understand your postural reading, and one day I came in and saw Dr. Jackson, that day I had no pain, my both shoulders felt perfect, but he decided to rotate me and after that I was in so much pain, it took 3 month of Nucca fixing this problem. And I have x-rays that show that after 2 month of this care my whole spine from c2 and down is twisted, and instability in low back. I can show it to you!!! A few months later, the x-rays showed that my neck had mproved! I am so happy about this. Also, my posture is better and I don't get soreness in my lower back like I used to. I have continued with "maintenance care" for 4 years now and, while I recommend it (like I recommend teeth cleaning by a dentist) x-rays have found that the alignment of my vertebrae continues to improve - almost normal! At my next visit a couple of days later Dr. Larry explained what my specific problems were and he reassured us that he thought upper cervical chiropractic care could help me. I was skeptical and demoralized after so many years of illness and disability. I figured I had nothing left to lose so I decided to go ahead with treatment. I got my first adjustment that night. When I got home that night I could tell right away that my dizziness and balance symptoms had improved. The next morning I woke up and felt a vitality in my body that I had not felt in years! At first I was unable to do the exercise I was used to, sleep normally, and work at the computer for longer than an hour due to pain in my neck, shoulder, wrist, and hand, and lower back. I felt my body being physically out of balance, or uneven, when moving around for every day tasks. My Mom referred me to Upper Cervical last year, after relief of severe pain from compressed disks and pinched nerves in her neck. Prior to coming to UCC, I was diagnosed with leaking fluid in the back of my left knee, which was causing pain and swelling in that knee for over three years.
