I recently hired my preferred organizer over the summer to declutter and organize my kitchen, and I’m genuinely pleased with the results. The project addressed a long-standing need, and the finished space is functional, tidy, and something I’ve been able to maintain well since.What I appreciatedQuality of work: The organization is thoughtful, with logical layouts that make everyday use easier.Outcomes: I’ve kept the space organized for quite a while now, which is exactly what I wanted.A note on billingDuring the project, I was charged for a one-hour lunch break on a four hour projects Independent contractors aren’t typically paid for lunch breaks and it was never discussed. If a break is needed, it should be accounted for appropriately. We discussed the total hours before the work concluded but she still billed for the lunch break, after I flagged it I brought it to her attention and reimbursed me.My recommendation for future clients: carefully review the invoice and confirm the billing for breaks before or during the service. If something doesn’t align with your understanding of the agreed hours, address it promptly to avoid confusion.Overall verdictI’m satisfied with the results and have been able to maintain the organized space with minimal effort.
