The crew that came took photos of all the damage and sent them to me. We had extensive mold concentrated throughout the basement ceiling and moisture was literally dripping off the basement light fixtures. They came in with multiple dehumidifier’s which took about a week to dry out due to the amount of moisture in the wood and concrete. Once that was under control, They treated and removed the thick mold found along the entire ceiling . Cody , who is basically running our job did a fantastic job communicating with phone calls and photographs. I couldn’t believe they got all of that mold off of the floor joists above throughout the entire basement. I also asked them to remove worthless items covered in mold which they discarded, of which was insurmountable! They sent pictures of items that were down there, and I pointed and basically told them which to keep and what to get rid of. There was other work that we had discussed, quoted and paid for ahead of time to reduce the moisture / humidity in the air from coming in from the concrete going forward, but after work was complete, Greg had assessed that there was a major drainage problem and it was futile to perform the other work until it was fixed so he politely said he would credit us that money back for now. It was a nightmare. It was also 11 pm, and we thought for sure everyone who might be able to help us would be asleep. My father-in-law called New England Water Remediation, and Greg was at our house within the hour. We were blown away not only by his response time but also by his knowledge and guidance while we were in severe panic mode. Greg assessed the damage before he left that night and left some high-powered fans behind to help dry up some of the standing water. In the meantime, we had to move out of the house we just bought with a newborn on the way. Greg and his team got straight to work. The following week after we moved out, Greg's team began gutting the basement and moving all of our belongings into a storage POD placed on our driveway. The team was incredibly efficient. During the demo, they also discovered some old asbestos tiling in the bathroom and promptly had it removed. Greg eventually connected us with Dan, our project manager, who we could not have been more pleased with. My father-in-law has high standards for handiwork and Dan time and time again surpassed his expectations and my own. Now, I'll keep it real here and say that there were certainly times when some aspects of the work were sub-par or unacceptable, but it wouldn't even be fair to mention those experiences because Greg, Dan, and their team, in EVERY instance, made sure to make the work right until we were truly happy. This is rare! And this makes me want to recommend them to others and use them again should we ever need to. We heard horror stories of contractors who would either never finish the work, take your money and run, or get argumentative when you expressed any dissatisfaction with the work being done. But this was never, ever the case with New England Water Remediation. From the flood remediation to the rebuild, Greg and Dan were always there to listen to our needs and make sure that we were truly happy with their work for us. We never had any reason to doubt them because they truly cared about our satisfaction. Also, it needs to be mentioned that they were able to get us BACK into our house by mid-October. All in all, we were displaced for only four months, which is an incredible feat. We couldn't be happier to recommend New England Water Remediation to anyone who has found themselves in a crappy situation. I called this company so many times concerning my mother’s house. They came within hours and cleared the water. There was a good 4 inches of water in my basement. They then came back the next day and worked almost 8 hours straight in order to continue pumping out water that kept coming in. We are working on next steps with them now. Highly recommend.

I called for help drying out my basement. I got a call from Greg who asked me to send him a text with my information, and he said he would get back to me. Almost a week later I still have yet to hear back from him and I was forced to go elsewhere and deal with the water on my own. Terrible service, terrible communication. Frantically calling every remediation company on the Christmas holiday when our pipes burst on the third floor of our house (flooding the lower two floors), I am forever thankful that Greg is the one who answered the phone and showed up at my door 20 minutes later as he was heading home from another call (did I mention it was at night...on a holiday..?). From start to finish this company has been amazing. My favorite part was not only did they handle the remediation (removing all the damaged ceilings, floors, walls, electrical, etc), they also handled the repairs and putting everything back together. They worked directly with the insurance company for all of the reimbursements and payments, and got absolutely everything covered. I didn't need to do anything more challenging than pick out carpets, paint color, and check in with the insurance adjuster every now and then to tell them where to mail a check. It was easy, simple and professionally handled during the entire process. The construction crew in the house was friendly, skillful and paid attention to little details that really made a difference. PLumber called and his assessment was a blockage that backed up for some time and then the pressure released it. BIG SMELLY MESS. Looked up various Cleaners and chose New England Water Remediation run by Greg Murray. He arrived and gave me an estimate and explained how the whole affair worked. He and his crew arrived exactly the time quoted and got to it. No dilly dally. Was amazed that they emptied the cellar in such a short time. Started at 0730 on Sunday morning and did some clean up and then positioned several major league BLOWERS by early afternoon which ran for 3 days. It was at this point I knew they had done this before and very efficient. Near the end a new machine was brought in to change or sweeten the air and it surely did that. Sewer smell was gone. Final day they returned to remove the Blowers and return what was to go back in the cellar. Hot water heater broke. Water everywhere. In a panic I call this company. Reviews are few, but positive, so I felt ok. They show up with one (broken) sump pump and no hose. Instead of focusing on the gallons of water flooding the basement, they pressure me into signing a contract for all restoration work. Don't need to get into the details, but it was a strongly worded non-consumer friendly contract. Then it is apparent that one of the workers doesnt know how to use the broken sump pump they brought over. And even worse, he is inebreiated and REEKS of alcohol. I asked them to leave. This morning I noticed that they had undone the water hose to the washer, so even more water damage for us to clean up. Go with servpro! Less

Due to the quick turnaround we were able to save all the newly renovated rooms with less than a week old walls and baseboards. I probably saved a few a ton of money that we did not have to cut and replace the drywalls, since we are able to get the water out and start the drying process the same day of the water leak. They left their equipment for 3 days, they did a through walk through. Everything was dry with no damage to our property whatsoever. I truly recommend New England water Remediation. Less

Greg came right out as soon as the plumber was done and started assessing the situation. Once he tore out the wet Sheetrock he set up his air movers and dehumidifiers. He was good at explaining everything. He was always masked up to protect me.

They even encourage you to call them if something isn't going well. And come out to fix anything that needs done after hours. He explained everything he needed to do and answered all of my questions with patience! He left the equipment and said he would be back to pick it up in a few days to give everything time to dry. Over the next few days, I texted Greg several times to ask questions to make sure everything was working properly. I never felt as though I was bothering him, and he answered all of my questions again with patience. When he came back to pick up the equipment, he also loaded up a large pile of water damaged stuff to dispose of for me. I hope I don't have to call him again to clean up water in my basement, but I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire him again! Less

A flash flood did our finished basement in. Greg came in for water and mold mitigation the same day! All the damaged carpet tiles, molding, and drywall was out that afternoon. He left the job site as neat as I’ve ever seen a contractor leave one and used environmentally friendly products. Greg saved the day and answered all my questions. I would definitely work with him again.

I came home to sewage in my basement because the town pipes leaked. Greg did a great job of cleaning the sewage from my basement. You would never know anything was down there.
