Davies construction have built 2 of my homes now in Sheffield. I've known Luke and his team right from the beginning of the company and I have to say, the quality, the team, the process and the journey they have been on to become one of the best dream home builders in Australia hasn't been an easy one. The attention to detail, the authenticity and the dedication to always following through with their promises requires a strong dedication to doing not what's easy but what's right, which is reflected in all the awards that decorate their head offices. Having won best home in Australia the proof is in the pudding. I hear people saying how much they have hated the process and pain of building their own homes through other builders but I can't wait to build my next dream home with the Davies team!! Less
6 months wasted! We approached Davies Construction to build our new home, we had a concept design, DA and cash ready to go. Initially responsive, said they liked our project so we paid for a budget estimate to be done. After that we sought an update on the timeline for design and construction. They strung us along for a further 3 months and then informed us that timeframes had blown out by 12+ mo... More
6 months wasted! We approached Davies Construction to build our new home, we had a concept design, DA and cash ready to go. Initially responsive, said they liked our project so we paid for a budget estimate to be done. After that we sought an update on the timeline for design and construction. They strung us along for a further 3 months and then informed us that timeframes had blown out by 12+ months and without giving us the opportunity to respond they gave us the flick by email! "Good luck trying to find another builder" was their parting words to us. Not even a call to let us down gently. Less
The people that we dealt with were very competent and responsive, builder and architect were happy to build bespoke designs, quality of workmanship and finish was first class. Highly recommended
From the design, to the construction we have been more than thrilled with the result. They collaborate, listen and come up with ideas. They have a team of people who go above and beyond and really care at every stage. They created a home for us that is truly unique and it is a wonderful space to live in - we couldn't be happier.
