There are lots of things I like about this place!1) I have never had an issue with payment, they are frank about how much is covered within my insurance and how much is not. This is before service, so I do not feel like I am scammed.2) Whoever they have hired; dental hygienists, & dentists know what they are doing. They are well versed for their roles.3) Usually it is a quick in and out, they know that everyone's time matters, and that is why they are punctual.Though, there is something that I experienced today which I would like to bring up. I had an appointment at 1pm. I was supposed to have a cleaning and a checkup. The way it has always worked is I get vetted by a dental hygienist, they do scaling, cleaning, take notes, x-rays, and everything needed before the dentist can see me (the usual).Today, my hygienist was Ayushi, she was really friendly and great at her work. After small talk, I asked her what she used to do before, that's when she told me she was a dentist back home. This made me ask her lots of questions with a lot more confidence regarding dental hygiene, she answered everything really well in detain and gave me lots of tips. I felt well taken care of. She also had a good grip at her work such that I did not feel any discomfort. However, there seemed to be some issue with the software they use for X-ray. lots of people had to come in and figure out what was going on. That took about 20-30 minutes of me just waiting for them to figure everything out. I honestly did not mind the wait. She was eventually able to complete my x-rays. I know that she was very patient, and it took very long for my cleaning to be completed just because of the technical issue. I noticed she had other patients right after me, which meant that she did not get to take a break between patients. After that, I was asked to wait for the dentist, which was another 30 minutes. After waiting for a while, I asked it I can come back later as I had another appointment the same day. they rescheduled me for 4pm. I was back in at 3:50. I got to see the dentist at 4:30pm. I'm not sure if that is the norm, but 30 minutes felt like a long wait.At 4:30, I was informed by another dental hygienist that they needed to retake my X-rays, which meant I have to sit through all that again. When the X-rays were done, the hygienist that was doing them mentioned twice that the other hygienist is a "temp". I think that was an low blow attempt to make it seem like it was the hygienist's mistake and not a technical issue. At the end, I shamelessly asked for free goodies (complimentary floss, brush...) The hygienist handed it to me, and jokingly once again said that the other hygienist is a temp. I feel that this shows lack of teamwork, and in one way or the other, it is verbal oppression at workplace. If Ayushi is someone with so much of experience and talent, she should be respected at her workplace, especially if she is someone who is not taking breaks between patients.I just wanted to use this review as an opportunity to share my experience.
