I have been diagnosed with labrum tear to the left groin/hip. After multiple appointments with traditional physicians including 2 orthopedic surgeons and 8 weeks of physical therapy I was getting worse. Chronic pain, unable to sleep because I would wake up from the pain and discomfort. I decided to try a different approach and I am so glad I did. I am better now then when I first started with Dr Barlow and feeling better than I have in 3 years. I have more energy, motivation, and sleeping better. I have gone from taking OTC pain meds on a daily basis to rarely needing them . I have lost weight and have rare flair ups from inflammation. Usually I know exactly what I have eaten that causes the inflammation. It's all about gut health and inflammatory foods that are very different from what traditionally we have been taught. For example before I started with Chiropractic Physicians Center of Tupelo I was eating peanut butter and oatmeal for breakfast daily thinking I was building protein. After lab work for inflammatory markers was done, I found that both peanut butter and oatmeal was causing me to have more inflammation. That's just a few of my causes of inflammation.I wish anyone suffering from chronic pain could see Dr. Barlow and his team. They are not just your average Chiropractors that bend and twist.They help change your life style and keep you pain free without drugs and pain meds.
