I came in to meet her coworkers and to see this amazing facility she had been telling me about. Upon entering the building, I was blown away by how clean and organized the flow of patients was set up. I went to say hello to my wife but ended up having a lymphatic massage followed by a chiropractic adjustment by Dr. Jackson. Before my adjustment, I was asked my medical history. I have had back surgery to fuse my lower back, so Dr. Jackson recommended some x-rays to ensure the adjustment wouldn't cause damage or hurt me. After reviewing the x-rays, Dr. Jackson was able to adjust me and did such an amazing job. I had great movement throughout my entire body. Dr. Jackson's technique was soft but very affective. Long story short, I'm scheduling an appointment for an overall wellness check and to create a care plan with Integrated pain specialist. Hi! Justine here- I have been an employee with Integrated Pain Specialists (south Jordan and bountiful) since August 2023 and I have personally seen some incredible success stories from my patients. I recently experienced what it felt like to have physical pain that many patients come in experiencing and don’t know where to turn to. I had felt like my leg and ankle had felt “weird” “off” “uncomfortable” probably since September 2023 and then fast forward to April 11th 2024 I had a INTENSE sharp pain that started in my left lower back and shot all the way down my left leg. I experienced pain from my knee cap, back of the knee and my ankle. I even experienced weakness, body fatigue, and fogginess. This went out for weeks. This intense pain felt like it had come out of no where. I knew I was having some aches in my ankle and knee but I had NEVER experienced this type of pain before. I am a 35 year old female and I try to be aware of my body. I eat healthy and I am an active person I love being outside, hiking, going the gym, running and yoga. I was being really consistent at the gym I lost 28lbs, I was getting fit and toned and I even fell in love with running. I ran a 5k a 10k and was looking forward to my 15k and some trail runs that I had to cancel due to so much pain in April 2024. I also had to pull back from all the activities that I love (hikes, gym etc) I have been dedicated to the treatment getting care 3X a week. Estem, Theragun Sweep, Decompression, Trigger Point Injections, SI injection, Chiropractic and Physical Therapy and doing home therapy. I am still a work in progress but I’m feeling so much better then when I first started. I don’t have that excruciating pain like I did! I highly reccomend the IV pain away + vitamin d if you feel foggy, inflamed, low energy. Tyler and Alex are great with estim, Theragun, and decomp. Laura is extremely gentle with her injections and always finds the exact trigger points. I’ve seen all three Chiropractors and have excellent adjustments each time. Sara and John are super attentive in PT and make sure you’re in the proper positions and push your limits. I have had RFA treatments, injections, physical therapy and finally a year ago stopping short of spinal fusion, I had a spinal stimulator implanted to help me deal with the pain. This past fall I heard about Integrated Wellness, visited and took a tour of their facility and was impressed with their Comprehensive, Systematic Integration of cutting edge therapies as well as their impressive medical facility. I began a 12- week, 36 visit program. I am happy to report that I have received more pain relief from Integrated Wellness than all my previous pain remediation programs combined. There have been major corrections to my spine in the neck and lower back which have taken the pressure off the degenerated discs, C5,C6 and C7 as well as L3, L4 and L5. I am walking up to 10,000 steps a day, am totally off Ibuprofen which I was taking 1600 mgs. per day! I had always been skeptical of chiropractors so this was a last resort for me. I would definitely recommend Integrated Wellness and all the professionals affiliated with this facility, they have changed my life! I am definitely a believer in Chiropractic medicine now. You're in charge the whole way through. I went for my first appointment and they checked my bone alignment, did x-rays, and general stuff. What was different was the second appointment. Dr. Kirk sat down with us and explained why certain things are happening in our body, how it got out of alignment, and the reason for our bones, white tissue, red tissue, immune system, and skin. So happy with my decision to seek help from the professionals at Integrated Wellness. As a Dental Hygienist, I suffer from pretty consistent neck and back pain. It got so bad at one point that I had to stop working. On top of that, I’ve dealt with severe migraines, exhaustion, depression and lack of energy. After much research, my husband and I decided to hire this team of integrated/functional medicine to get our health back. This was my gift to myself for my 30th birthday-to start feeling more my age (instead of 50 years older)! All of the staff members on the rehabilitation side are amazing! Ethan, Matt and Celeste are always so kind and helpful. Misty and Lauren make injections a breeze! Dr. Gines is always so encouraging and Laura and Brooke are knowledgeable and excellent with overseeing my physical therapy sessions. I've been coming for 4+ weeks now and I love everyone there. The therapies are helping, and the chiropractors are very good. They even help my husband who is terrified of any thing 'popping' or 'cracking'. I went in for low back and neck pain and I can see an improvement in my mobility and hopefully in a few more weeks I'll be done and able to continue on my own! :)... More

Best experience I have ever had, I had an issue with my ribs and Dr. Wersland fixed me up quick! The staff is phenomenal to work work with! Don't waste your time going anywhere else the wealth of knowledge in this one building is astounding, you would have to visit 5 different offices in one day to replicate it!... More

I LOVE this place. I have been a patient of Dr. Wersland's for over 10 years. I am a wife, mother of 4, a runner and Registered Nurse. I have found over the years that my wellness beliefs and approach to health care is exactly what Integrated Wellness is all about. I have relied on Dr. Wersland and the staff at Integrated Wellness when I have dealt with major health related setbacks to something as simple aches and pains from being a runner. My husband has seen Dr. Wersland on multiple occasions to address various sports related injuries. I am happy to say that because of Dr. Wersland my husband and I do not have to live with any chronic pain that can come from untreated injuries over the years. I also regularly take my children in to see him. From gymnastics injuries to ear infections I rely on Dr. Wersland to keep us healthy, and active. I love this place! Talk about an all encompassing healing center! Knowing the behind the scenes and having been a patient, I wouldn't send a person anywhere else. The level of care and concern for their patients and staff is above and beyond! I've referred people as both patients and employees and I haven't heard one dis-satisfied person. There will always be those that have a negative experience, but for every 1 negative I believe this place gets 100 positives. It has obviously made a mark in the community. The doctors spend countless hours researching, studying and educating their staff. Their belief in the work they do is incredibly strong. They don't stand for mediocrity. I have heard some say they are theifs, liars, etc. to those I would say the experience lies a great deal in our attitude towards the situation. These men are not magicians but I have seen them work small miracles and bring about change to lives that people will never forget! Every part of the facility is top notch and worth every penny. My health is priceless and I choose Integrated Wellness 10 times out of 10 for treating myself and my family, before I'd pay a copay and stepp foot in a medical office. Not one of these professionals was able to give me any long term relief from the arthritis pain. I was prescribed 3 different medications. When I went to see Dr. Assay it was a totally different experience. He x-rayed my spine and did a comprehensive analysis of the various problem... More

When I went to see Dr. Assay it was a totally different experience. He x-rayed my spine and did a comprehensive analysis of the various problems I was having. He explained how the backbone impacted different parts of the body and how all my other symptoms were a result of deterioration of the vertebra. I had physical therapy and chiropractic adjustments. I was given some exercises to do at home. As a result of the excellent care I was able to eliminate one of the medications I'd used for years. Thanks Dr. Assay! Less
