My mother 72 built with Scott. Wasn’t a cheap pool around $125,000 completedUpon completion of her pool, the hot tub was not leveled across the wall, crossing an increase of water flow to the west end of the hot tub, not allowing the featured to operate correctly.Scott and his team claimed this was from adjustment of the jets, Being from The construction industry, my initial recommendation of this was that That they return inspect the pool to ensure flat grade on the spill over. The issue with the pool was because of poor craftsmanship on construction, the outer wall Of the pool was lower on the westside.Scott had insured me this could be corrected by adjustment. I did not agree with this at the time I recommended we get the hot tub flat so the water could flow accordingly.Scott then told me that our pump that he installed was too small for the spillway. I made the recommendation that it was not necessarily. It was too small. However the West End was significantly lower than the east end of the pool, causing all the runoff to run to that side And creating a trickle of water on the east side of the hot tub and minimal flow over on the face wall.We then installed a larger pump because we were told we didn’t have the gallons per minute needed to run a waterfall so we made that adjustment. We committed to a $2000 upgrade charge on the pump that it looks like it was an oversight of my mother’s and it was not paid on time in July when they issued a bill, then they issued another bill in AugustHowever, prior to this Tony, one of Scott’s employees was to put a valve in our pool to increase water flow. That was a recommendation From their supervisor, not from meThey never installed the valve that we were promised to increase the flow. Tony made it seem like it was a lot of work.I then receive a text from Scott on a Friday at 3 PM. Asking me if I wanted him to remove the pump. I did not know what he was referring to at first as I was at work and then I quickly realized he was referring to the unpaid amount of $2000 for the secondary pump that was installed to compensate for the lack of craftsmanship Of the pool.At this point, I’ve had it with him and his facetious comment about the pump and I was having zero tolerance for it since as a customer we already spent $125,000 with him and he couldn’t get that part of project right since then we have issued a check And are stuck with a in properly flowing water wallHave dealt with many pool builders up to this construction , that led to legal action legal action and dealing with the department of business and professional regulation for months to get refunds and resolution we have not decided how we’re gonna proceed with this company or is hiring another builder to come out correct it the solution as pool has now been in ground several months with no solutions but be aware of this company before making commitments with them or any company to buy a pool, It makes for a less desirable experience, and it doesn’t matter how much you spend with them don’t think because you spend more you’re gonna get better service, when your counting on a professional to build your pool..
