Without hesitation, I would say that Dr. Blom’s Upper Cervical Care has been transformative for my health.My long, thinner neck was probably damaged at an early age by a face plant on a trampoline, and then later when jumping with my own kids as well as landing off the mat in a sumo wrestling event.  After one of my visits to the ER, I visited my family doctor.   He prescribed muscle relaxers, anti-nausea and pain medication.  The headaches were horrible.  I kept the meds by my bed in case I would wake up with that pain.  Immediate access prevented me from having to return to ER.I began the hunt to address the problem rather than the symptoms.  I went to several chiropractors and tried other modalities.  These alternative methods helped, but I was only addressing the problem piece by piece.  My one hip was often out of place, plus other pain would pop up in my knee, or various other places.  I also had trouble with my appetite because of the nausea, and traveling greatly aggravated my symptoms.I found out about Dr. Blom from an acquaintance that had been seeing him for 6 years.  After she told me her success story, I immediately called and made my first appointment.  That was one year ago.   Dr. Blom is expert in his practice.  I am amazed at the progress I have made.  At 74 years old, I can happily report constant improvement.  I hadn’t been able to make the flights to see my kids in a couple of years.  I just took two long flights within a month of each other and my neck stayed in place.  I didn’t get travel sickness.My balance is great and the aches and discomfort in my hip and legs is much improved.  His suggestions about my diet and exercise have been invaluable.  For me, it is like a one stop shop!  His treatments and counsel are providing the vital help I needed to live a fuller more productive life.I appreciate his kind and considerate office staff, and the fact that he is very timely in his scheduling.

Where do I start! I’ve suffered from scoliosis my whole life and recently got diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos and POTS. I got in a car accident that made all my symptoms worse. I found Dr Blom knowing the traction and chiropracttic work I’ve done didn’t work but learning about how my nervous system contributes so heavily to my POTS symptoms. I’ve seen Dr Blom for 9 months, finally holding my adjustments and it’s nearly irradiated my POTS symptoms. The relief my spinal cord feels has allowed my nervous system to come to a more normal baseline making even anxiety, depression, fatigue and inflammation in my body dramatically improved. I’m so convinced this is the quickest way to recovery that I’ve started treatment for both of my children. One an athlete and both suffer from POTS. Dizziness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, motion sickness etc. I wish I could put into words for all the people I love how much this has helped and to just do it! Dr. Blom treated my chronic neck pain that was caused by bulging discs. The spine specialist said my only options were steroid shots or disc replacement surgery. Dr. Blom was able to relieve most of my pain through his chiropractic work so that I no longer felt I needed to consider those interventions. I can't recommend Upper Cervical enough. I came in to see Dr. Blom for hemiplegic numbness and tingling on my right side. I had facial numbness, numbness in the arm and hand, and numbness in the leg and foot. I was also having severe anxiety and panic attacks. Previously, I had tried going to a regular chiropractor to seek help but after no relief, I was thankful to find Upper Cervical. Although, it was a slow process Initially, I could feel a big difference from the get go. At first, my adjustments only held for a short period of time. I'd feel better, but would still struggle. Even then, I didn't lose hope because I felt the difference. Over time my numbness and tingling started going away, by back and hips felt aligned, and my anxiety decreased. It's now been close to a year and I am better than ever. Dr. Blom has been so patient in this process and examined my case so that he could give me the best care. I've been seeing Dr. Blöm for many years now, and he's the only person I recommend for upper cervical care.I've struggled with maintaining alignment and migraines since I was in grade school. Over the years, I've also had several sports-related accidents and two motor vehicle accidents that resulted in injuries and further alignment issues. Before finding upper cervical care, I tried traction and traditional chiropractic care—sometimes going as often as three days a week—with little to no lasting improvement. It felt excessive, especially when I wasn't seeing results.I began seeing Dr. Blöm before my cervical fusion in 2018. He worked with me leading up to surgery to help me get the best possible outcome and has continued helping me maintain my alignment ever since. He's extremely knowledgeable, pays close attention to detail, and truly understands his profession inside and out.The difference has been significant. Instead of needing adjustments several times a week, I now typically see him once every 2–4 months, depending on my activity level and how my body is responding. I experience fewer migraines and fewer overall body aches, especially when I do my part by resting after treatment and being gentle with my body for the first couple of days.I've always described upper cervical care like a marionette: Dr. Blöm gets the wood structure where it belongs so the strings can function properly. I'm pretty sure he explained it to me that way years ago, and it has always stuck with me!After extensively experiencing both approaches, I personally don't believe in traditional chiropractic care for my body and wouldn't go back. I’m really glad I decided to go to Dr. Blom because I was dealing with a bunch of stuff that was making everyday life harder, especially really bad heel pain, anxiety, heartburn, and allergies. I had tried different things before, but nothing really seemed to help. After working with Dr. Blom, I’ve noticed a huge difference with all of them. I’ve been seeing Dr. Blom for a couple years now and I can truly say it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. He’s very knowledgeable in his craft and takes a lot of pride in it. My whole left side was in pain from sharp headaches, arm pain/tingling, jaw pain, you name it, even my anxiety was bad. My wife showed me his ad online and I refuse to see another chiropractor. He’s helped my pain and helped with my anxiety with his method and as a testimony of my experience it’s the best decision I’ve ever made going in and seeing him!
