We had an amazing experience working with Melissa recently.Our 6-month old puppy Luna struggles with reactivity and loose-leash walking, which Melissa provided exceptional, extensive advice for. We saw instant transformations in our puppy's behaviour during the one hour in-home session, and are very grateful to now have the proper knowledge and tools to continue training Luna. She took the time to explain the “why” behind everything, which made it much easier to stay consistent and understand our dog’s needs, and also provided additional time for questions at the end. She never rushed through the process.If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares, uses ethical, positive reinforcement methods, and gets real results, I can’t recommend Canadian Canine College enough. We will definitely attend classes once we finish sorting out our puppy's current struggles.

We just picked up our border collie after almost 3 weeks in the care of Abby and her amazing staff at the The Canine Care Retreat.While we were away, on the other side of the world, we were kept up to date on how our girl was doing via direct communication as well as wonderful photos.We had total comfort about leaving our pup in their care and will not hesitate to do so in the future.Thank you Abby and to your staff for looking after our girl. The experience at CCC was excellent. The instructor (Wayne) was very knowledgeable & patient with us new comers in the puppy class. The facilities were very clean and welcoming complete with several life challenges for the puppies to experience. Our pup Gabi enjoyed meeting new friends and their handlers.

First time I’ve ever took classes anywhere and wish I’d know about CCC sooner. Took Moose there for puppy class and then we just finished our life skills 1 class. They have a kind approach and Instructors were very clear on training tips…Moose and I have come so far with the their help and I’ll definitely be joining them for more advance classes. You guys rock!!

Thank you for a wonderful training experience. Ozzy was a timid dog afraid of people and new things. Your trainers respected this and went slowly with him. By the end of our life skills 1 he was allowing the trainers to take him and show us what to do. He is coming out of his shell. Can’t wait to start life skills 2.

I cannot say enough good things about CCC. Bruno, our black lab, has been going to puppy daycare, training classes, and now daycare at CCC since we got him! He absolutely loves going. Melissa and Abby and the rest of the staff are all amazing, I really trust them and know that Bruno is well taken care of. I also love that grooming is easily added on, (we never have to cut Bruno's nails, he's on a monthly automatic schedule). All in all, CCC is a one stop shop for us and makes everything about caring for/owning/training a dog easier.

Started bringing my puppy here for classes because of the sporting programs looking at getting into agility with him when he's old enough.This is his favorite place on earth.He loves class setting. The coaches are very effective at getting us silly humans to get it right and because of that my boy learns SO FAST.They take the time to introduce agility and other sports in the life skills program.I had no idea he would love scent work so much and I am so grateful for the introduction!We are going back for the 3rd level in life skills and hopefully the next nose work and agility in the spring! Melissa and her staff are fabulous. The facility is very clean and modern. Their daycare program has been invaluable in helping our pup become a well adjusted, easy going calm guy. He loves it there! We just finished our life skills one program. Melissa offers lots of great suggestions for any training issues you might be having at home.
