First time visiting this salon and I’m extremely disappointed. My original stylist called in sick and I rescheduled with Valeria. She showed up 15 minutes late to our appointment. I showed her my inspiration picture for color and just needed my cut freshened up. I also had let her know I did not want to be too red. After discussing we agreed to do highlights and color. After finishing the highlights she let me sit to process and said she’d be back in 15 to check on me. 35 minutes later I had to go looking for her. She was no where to be found and the receptionist wasn’t even sure where she was at. She finally reappeared and I expressed my concerns since I had lightener sitting on my head. She brushed my concerns off. Rinsed the highlights and applied the color while I sat in a sit up position at the shampoo bowl. My color turned out fire engine red (exactly what I didn’t want). She says oh is that too red I did add a red booster even though you didn’t want it to be too red. She had to apply my color again. After checking my cut it’s uneven with long pieces in various spots. Color is still not what I wanted after it was applied twice. No offer to style my hair (curl, straighten anything). She got a little bitter and said I hope you come back even though you don’t like me. Oh but if you leave a 5 star review with good commentary you can be entered in a giveaway for a blowdryer. Proceed with caution as I’m not sure now if it’s a 2 star salon with 5 star ratings for the giveaway. She made sure to tell me this a few times. Less

She even invited me to come back for another complimentary bang trim before I have a baby in February, which is super generous. Overall, I’m happy with the effort made to make things right. Thank you, Christina! ——————————————————————————— Unfortunately I did not have the 5 star experience I was hoping for based on other reviews. I booked a haircut online the night before, and selected an appointment with a stylist named Valeria. I arrived 15 minutes early, checked in with the woman at the desk. While waiting, another employee asked my name, so I told her and that I had an appointment with Valeria. She went and got my stylist. We consulted about what I wanted, just a trim but I wanted bangs. I showed 4 different pictures of the bangs I wanted, which was a fuller, side-swept fringe. So we went to the shampoo bowl and that should have been my indication of how my entire appointment would go. It was very underwhelming with minimal scrubbing that lasted maybe 15 seconds and didn’t even get the bottom section of my hair wet after all was said and done. Also didn’t put a cape on for it. So we head back to her station. We started talking and it was revealed her name was Jessie. She never said her name so I was a little confused since I thought I was seeing a different stylist. Not a huge deal as this was my first visit and when I scheduled my appt I didn’t have a requested stylist but still was confusing. She cut the perimeter and some layers then proceeded to dry it. I was a little surprised she didn’t cut my bangs, but I figured at that point she was going to cut them dry, even though that seemed a little off to me. She dried it and asked how I liked it as if she was all done. I asked if she was going to cut my bangs… she said yeah, but I truly think she forgot and had I not said anything would have left without the main thing I wanted cut. So she cut them, and the bangs are botched. It’s extremely disappointing; it’s almost as if I didn’t show her photos and she didn’t know what I wanted. There’s long pieces in the midst of short, choppy bangs. They should have been cut wet so they could have been styled appropriately and probably would have been much better. Thankfully I’m a licensed cosmetologist and I’m HOPING I can fix this when I get home. Also, she didn’t offer to style with an iron at all. Overall this was very disappointing. It’s rare I actually get my own hair done, so it’s a treat to get a babysitter for my kids and be “pampered”, and this was not really a treat. I was iffy about the bangs before leaving but didn’t say anything before I left in case it was just “shock” factor in having a big change done, but after looking at them it’s truly a matter of getting a poor haircut. It’s a beautiful salon but I don’t think I’ll be back, sadly. Less

I’ve had many amazing experiences with Jessi, she’s an excellent stylist and colorist. Very charismatic and fun to talk to during the appointments, she has a great sense of style and eye for detail. As long as I am living in the Holland area Jessi will always be my go to stylist!

Heather Langejans did such a fabulous haircut on me. She's so fun, friendly and professional but best of all she does a fabulous job. The salon is beautiful, stylish and the staff was Friendly. The best part you get to laydown when you get your hairwashed and it's super comfortable! I would definitely recommend.

Of course I love that my scalp isn't driving me crazy anymore, but the VOLUME is probably my favorite part. And it lasts ALL day. My stylist Christina really knows her stuff and is great at recommending products to fix my hair woes.
