The best outcomes from physical therapy are going to be from a professional who works with you the entire time. Not handing you off to a tech. Not leaving you on your own to do exercises on the side. Mac not only works with you, he explains the process, why and what outcomes he’s looking for. His guidance took what had been 3+ months of pain and suffering into a reasonable 8 week plan of correction. Rest isn’t always an answer. We corrected movement patterns, worked through issues, had easy pt homework to follow through on, and I’m now moving better at 46 then I did at 36. I’m excited to be back at the gym and back to the activities I love without the fear of re-injury lying myself. You get one life, make it the highest quality, with the highest quality PT. I have a lifelong history of motion sickness and migraines, along with recent episodes of BPPV and vertigo. I can’t recommend Dr. Mac at Go Physio enough. I came to him 6 months post-op total knee replacement, feeling completely defeated and frustrated by my lack of progress. I’ve been a competitive athlete my whole life, and not being able to return to my active lifestyle was taking a massive emotional toll. I had been committed to consistent (corporate) PT and other modalities, yet I was still experiencing significant pain and limited range of motion. It wasn't working.Dr. Mac assured me that we just needed to get to work and retrain the tissue. Through intense PT and a specialized approach, he helped me find my range of motion and my confidence again. He used a combination of progressively heavy strength training, plyos, and dry needling with stim to get me back on the pickleball court and running in just 20 sessions.
