Dr. Schneider treated me throughout 2024 and his practice fills the void between a doctor's visit and the gym. He fills vacancies in the medical system where we might feel a doctor's visit fails us and advises us to "stop doing" whatever movement hurts. He bridges medical practice and one's inherent desire to continue being active despite our physical ailments. After a year of getting into CrossFit I was pushing more and more weights until deadlifting at 85% of my 1RM locked up my back. I sought out dynamic stretching, tried different exercises thinking I had an underdeveloped muscle or muscle group, along with many other alternatives. Ultimately, my pain was debilitating and I was referred to Dr. Schneider. He does an incredible job of listening to you, describing what's going on, explaining the biomechanics, and discusses anything you need to any degree that which you ask. After seeing progress over several weeks I experienced a significant flair up that immediately sent Dr. Schneider into questioning the severity of the injury, due to the lack of sense the flair up made, and immediately advised I get imaging performed. The fact I attempted so many things and went through physical therapy with him led my primary doctor to immediately submit a referral for an MRI. The information it gave told Dr. Schneider exactly what he needed. He remained calm and encouraged me to do so as well and told me we have a plan. His expertise, spinal manipulation, and dry needling were stellar and gave me visible progress. I've since moved out of the state, but the things he taught me remains with me as I continue my rehab journey successfully on my own. I'm forever grateful for this brilliant man and his handsome puppy!
