We chose Buck's to train our catahoula who was scared and aggressive. After just 3 weeks, Copper was transformed into the energetic, fun dog we knew he could be. I have now brought two of my dogs to Buck’s Dog training. My first dog has issues with reactivity. Bailey completed a 4 week board and train with Nicole and she was a different dog by the time she completed training. Nicole and the entire team were amazing. I finally felt comfortable being Bailey out for walks around people. She was also impeccably trained off leash and obedience. I got a new pup in August 2024. I immediately signed up for puppy training classes at Bucks. After seeing Onyx’s demeanor, I knew he would be a perfect therapy dog that would help bring other people as much happiness and love he brings me. We progressed to Bucks 10 session lesson pack. Blaze has worked diligently with us over the last 2.5 months to train Onyx to be the perfect gentleman pup and companion. Onyx has successfully trained to be off leash with recall, all traditional obedience commands (sit, lay, place, heel, etc), and some extra cool tricks that Blaze has taught us that allows Onyx and I to have the best and safest experience when we go out on hikes. Onyx officially passed his AKC canine good citizen test today to be a therapy dog. We get compliments all the time about how well trained Onyx is. The entire team is super responsive between lessons if there are ever any concerns. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Bucks. My already friendly Bernedoodle is now a well-trained good boy who is trusted to go on off-leash adventures and easily follows commands both at home and in public spaces. My 10 month old golden doodle, Penny, started training sessions with Blaze when she was 6 months old. Prior to training she was difficult and required constant attention and management. She was challenging to walk and walks were always stressful. On our first session, Blaze showed me how to walk her comfortably with the prong collar. That was a game changer for walks. I started enjoying taking her for walks after that and she enjoys them more now too. Then we began training with the e-collar. After a few sessions, she was ready to begin off-leash training. Now, after 10 sessions, she has reliable recall and we can hike with her confidently off leash. She has learned most obedience commands- sit, down, here, up, wait, leave it, drop it, place. She even passed her Canine Good Citizen test. Training with Blaze was a great experience. I believe that he trained me enough that I could train a future dog on my own. We brought our Dog Tatum for training. Prior to coming, we dreaded taking him for a walk as he would pull us in every direction which made for a very unpleasant experience. Felicia and the other trainers were great and took direction from the clients as to what was the most important issues. I am proud to say that Tatum is now a pleasure and walks right by our side and even ignores other dogs and distractions. Overall was a great experience. Less

We rescued a dog from an adoption center and he had a very sad past. He was abused and starved by his previous owner. He would not take commands, showed signs of aggression towards anyone other then my husband or I and was not able to be around our other dogs. We made the investment to send him to Bucks Dog Training for their 3 week program and we could not be happier with the results. In 3 short weeks our boy has completely changed for the better. He has learned all the commands has shown zero signs of aggression and after one day of being back home has successfully integrated with our other dogs. If you are looking for a dog trainer then look no further! Nicole and her staff took excellent care of our boy and we loved getting daily videos of his training so we could see his progression. Less
