I highly recommend Shadow Hawk Defense. I've taken a multiple courses and always have the best experiences. The instructors are highly trained with exceptional skills. Safety is their number one priority. The student to instructor ratio is excellent. The small classes enable the instructors to work effectively with all the students providing a customized and tailored approach to training. They spend time evaluating each student's skill level and work to identify bad habits and diagnose where weaknesses may exist. The instructors give great instruction with good explanations and demonstrations to enhance their students skill level. The last course I took was a red dot optics course. Both myself and my wife took this course, and we were both very satisfied with the class. We both saw a great deal of improvement from start to finish. Our groupings improved and it was great to see all the students in the course learn and improve. It was fun and effective. My wife and I both can't wait to come back for more training.

I’ve taken a few courses from Shadow Hawk Defense now and highly recommend them. Every experience has been outstanding. The instructors are phenomenal and deliver high quality effective training. They prioritize safety above all else, and deliver exceptional training customized to each student. They work to review current skill level, diagnose bad habits and help guide students to make adjusts and corrections to truly improve. The last course I took was a red dot optics course. This was so effective and I saw improvements in my groupings right away. Definitely recommend you visit them. You won’t be disappointed!

In less than a week i went from testing out some hardware in a, “try before you buy,” program to having a private lesson on how to responsibly handle my new firearm for my concealed carry certification. The staff in both instances were friendly, professional, and eager to help me with all my questions and concerns. My experience was leaps and bounds better than what i’ve heard from other certification programs. Complete, comprehensive, and hands-on. 5 out of 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will definitely be coming back for more training and experience.

If you’re looking for a range that can do it all, it’s here. Had an amazing experience at Shadow Hawk training with a friend of mine, and could t recommend this place enough. Lynn was amazing at reserving us a bay. Randy was a phenomenal host showing us around and engaging in some good conversation.Living in Maryland, there aren’t many outdoor ranges, let alone ones that allow you to have free range in an action bay. To shoot here, all you have to do is call ahead to reserve a bay and they’ll get you taken care of. They also have courses and throughout the year and events that take place year round.These guys are passionate about training and it shows. They can count me as a regular to this range moving forward.
