I highly recommend Gulf Coast Mold Assessing and Remediation, we feel so lucky to have worked with them Mike Simon of Gulf Coast Mold saved our ceilings. A month ago, I felt like “the end of days” was upon me. We had a mold problem on the ceilings of our living room, dining room, kitchen and great room. We got outrageous quotes and remediation plans from three different mold remediation companies. None of their assessments or plans to remediate seemed logical to me. My neighbor heard about all the trouble I was having finding the right mold company to help us and he suggested I meet with Gulf Coast Mold Assessing and Remediation (GCM). I was feeling overwhelmed until I met Mike Simon from Gulf Coast Mold. Mike was able to assess the mold problem and how to resolve it. He was the only company that went into the attic to figure out what was causing the moisture. He found AC ducts that were laying directly on the insulation. He said to call our AC company and have them raise/suspend the ducts and replace wet insulation with new insulation. Once that was done Mike came back with his team. They cleaned, treated and painted all of the problem areas and sealed all of our ceiling can lights (because the can lights had never been sealed condensation was forming around them and causing mold.) His team took great care to move and protect our furniture and put everything back as it was when they were done. My grandmother had a flood in her home on the West Coast of Florida and this company came highly recommended from some people I knew in the area. They made the process extremely simple and removed all traces of mold and other water damage. Mike came in and did a small remediation on our bathroom. He was very knowledgeable and found the issue immediately! I was worried about it taking too long but he quickly and effectively took care of the problem. In and out in just a few days. Can’t even tell there was ever drywall cut out.
