Storage is clean and bright. Plus I met the owner and he is a very down to earth family man. Who offered great service and competitive prices. I once used a shipping container to store for 6 months but everything got damp and just came out smelling horribly! We went for CB this time as everything is indoor, once you see how clean and tidy Charlie keeps his place you will never go anywhere else. Far cheaper than big yellow storage in Cambridge. He's been wonderful allowing me to be flexible with payment plans as my exact exit time was uncertain. The unit itself is well protected and dry and I had no issue with my belongings on collection. If you need it, padlocks are provided and instructions on accessing and taking care of the site are well written and easy to understand. Excellent clean storage facilities in Bar Hill. It's newly built, just off the A14, with fully automated access. Charlie (the MD) is friendly and helpful, and there is the option for a free van to help with moving bulky items. Trolleys and a goods lift make this really easy! We also arranged comprehensive insurance via CB Self Storage too. Recommended.

Just finished up after storing some household items for a few months. Dealing with Charlie was straightforward and he was even able to assist with a small issue on my move in when I turned up at 8pm. As other reviews have said the storage is well laid out and really fast to move things in and out the loading bay. Pricing was better than chain places in town and more convenient to get to as well.

Fantastic storage options available from CB Self Storage. I spent some time looking into other larger companies in Cambridge and found CB to be far cheaper and much more convenient due to their location (not it the city). Their service is second to none: prompt, professional, and thoughtful. I would thoroughly recommend using CB Storage.

We used CB storage for a couple of months while we moved house and I can't complain about anything. The online application was straight forward, the instructions on how to get into the building and what to do were very easy to follow and the whole building felt safe and secure, also great value for money. Clean, well lit, dry and spacious, and a friendly reception and good advice from Charlie. Access was easy but well secure, and quality trolleys and a big loading bay with motorised shutter made moving goods in and out very easy. Absolutely ideal for what I needed. I have no hesitation in recommending this facility!

We stored our home's contents for a couple of months in-between a move. CB Storage have very competitive pricing, great communication, and everything you need on site to easily store and move your items/belongings. Would happily recommend to friends and family!

Fantastic storage facility, Charlie is an incredibly helpful and generous business owner. The site access is easy with a selection of trollies to assist your needs should you need them. Should I ever need storage again I know I will be back here. I can only apologise for taking a few months to post this review.

We are a small Children's Home and needed somewhere to store equipment when not in use. After shopping around, it was Charlie's helpfulness as well as the price which made our decision. Charlie was great - this was my first experience of self storage as I moved house to the other end of the country. Charlie proved to be flexible when my moving date wasn't fixed and really helpful when I had to find a different removal company as my original one fell through at the last moment. The storage was great, I used it to declutter my house prior to selling. I Ended up only using the facility for a few weeks but it was perfect for what I needed. All the units are easily accessible and the undercover loading bay is a nice feature on a rainy day, as I found out! Would definitely reccommend.
