I had never tried CrossFit before and I have to admit that I was a little bit intimidated (after all I’m a woman over 50 years old with little weightlifting experience). But, I wanted to try CrossFit. I was bored with my workouts and needed something different and challenging. I started less than a year ago at Twin Bridges CrossFit and have been thoroughly pleased with the whole experience. I have gotten stronger and healthier than I have ever been before. I got my bloodwork done a couple weeks ago and my cholesterol and A1C were both down considerably and within normal ranges. Twin Bridges CrossFit has been a wonderful experience for me. TBCF has welcomed me with open arms. The box and equipment are clean and well maintained. The coaches and community are helpful and supportive. As a masters athlete, I enjoy the fact that I am able to work on technique and form without the pressure of lifting real heavy. I dropped in on a Saturday community workout and had a great time. I had never been to that gym before but was welcomed right away, shown how to do certain movements correctly and cheered on and motivated throughout the workout. Would definitely drop in again!

I started at Twin Bridges CrossFit by attending Saturday Community workouts (without any weightlifting knowledge) a little over a year ago and am now full time. I truly love the workout and my 5AM family, we work hard and we have a lot of fun!

I've been going for a little over 2 weeks. The trainer is fantastic. My muscles aren't sore, but they are very exhausted. I sweat more in one day than I typically do in an entire summer! Drink lots of water!

I dropped in to Twin Bridges twice this week when I was in Waco for work. The owner, Chris, and the members were very welcoming and friendly. Chris even spent an extra hour with me after the WOD to help me with a movement I was trying to improve on for an upcoming competition. If he is willing to spend that kind of time and attention on a drop in, imagine what he does for his members!
