Fernando and his team made our old house look brand new. Their attention to detail was top notch and they truly went above and beyond. It is apparent that Fernando and his guys care about the quality of work and finished product. These guys don't just come in and slap a coat of paint on, they take their time to fix all the imperfections, cracks, and holes.We had them paint our entire first floor, stairs, banister, and primary bedroom. Fernando also did some tile work in front of our fireplace. They took special care to make our old lath and plaster walls look like new! They sanded down all the trim and doors too which helped get rid of all those years of caked on layers of paint.Couldn't recommend them enough and will definitely be calling them for all of my future carpentry and painting!

From repairing and rebuilding trim and soffits to tackling challenging historical details, their craftsmanship was exceptional.What truly set them apart was their incredible prep work. Several other companies told me it would be impossible to scrape the old paint down to bare wood, but Fernando’s team did exactly that. They removed every layer, meticulously and patiently, leaving a perfect surface for the new finish. After getting numerous quotes from multiple construction, painting and combined construction & painting companies, I was still feeling uncertain of whom to choose to work on my house in Wakefield, Massachusetts. I made the decision to call Colorworks(A Benjamin Moore paint dealer) in Melrose ,Ma and asked them who was a consistent client of theirs, painting homes in Melrose. FL painting and construction was one of their recommendations. The owner Fernando, replied In a timely manner to my phone call. We had a productive discussion at my home. He was very attentive and a good listener. He surveyed the house and within the week gave me a detailed quote for each part of the process.When the work commenced, his crew were extremely hard-working and would come to the house at 7:30 in the morning and not leave until sundown. I was impressed with their professionalism and tenacity to get the work done. The house was fully stripped in a day! Then primed, sanded and painted twice. They were pleasant and asked questions when things arose. I also needed cedar shingles replaced, upstairs window sills replaced, trim work and all of the gutters replaced. I was really pleased with the quality of their work. Each morning Fernando would text me and let me know what was happening that day. If I had any questions, he replied to me quickly.We did a walk around after the project was finished to reevaluate the work that was done. I am feeling extremely satisfied, have peace of mind that my house is water tight and now looking great.I would highly recommend him and his team at FL Painting & Carpentry to anyone looking for work done on their house.

Fernando and his crew did an excellent, professional job painting our house, including repairs to rotted wood, and other small repairs. As promised, they cleaned up our yard at the end of each day.
