I recently took a CPR BLS class with Kyle Hastings as the instructor, and it was an outstanding experience. I mentioned that my son was sick at home with a fever and the flu, and without hesitation, he told me he would start the class immediately. I had arrived early, and the other student was stuck in traffic, but Kyle immediately offered to conduct the class 1:1 so I wouldn't have to wait. My mother and I took the CPR and first Aid for adults and kids with instructor Felipe Ramirez at the Rhode Island Ave PG Fire Department in MD and we were very pleased with the way the course was conducted. This is my second time coming her for BLS Training and each time was Great. I love that the instructors ask questions and keep you engaged in the course. This time i did the online training and in person skills test. From the time I walked in I felt welcomed by a friendly Instructor (I think her name was Shelly). She did give us the answers but encouraged us to think and be confident in our answers. The class was only 3 students who were there for renewals. The instructor made sure we understood each step and the reason we do them in a certain order. I would recommend this place for anyone needing CPR, First Aid, BLS, PALS, ACLS and AED Training. Kyle is a friendly, welcoming, experienced instructor who is also highly motivated to make sure his students are well educated and comfortable utilizing their skills outside of his classroom as well as providing education in various locations. I would recommend this class to anyone looking to certify and especially to healthcare providers who have been outside of a classroom setting for a while.
