This was truly an amazing experience! The captain and the company were great. Made sure we had everything we needed and helped us prepare. Everything was based on what we wanted and not what they thought should happen. On the day of, the extremely professional staff made sure that everything went as planned in accordance with the wishes of the deceased. The captain was very accommodating and made sure we got to do everything we needed for the burial. I highly recommend this experience to everyone, you will not be disappointed!

Committed, caring and respectful people. Lori and Captain Derrick made our somber trip to Galveston a day to cherish and remember for ever. The beloved matriarch of our family put out to sea to reunite with the love of her life. We could not have asked for a better send off for our loved one. Lori was kind and made everything fall into place for our event, with family coming from all corners of the country. Captain Derrick was knowledgeable, witty and entertaining, adding joy to our otherwise sad day. The send off for our sweet Mother/ Grandmother/ Great Grandmother was beautifully orchestrated, with even the dolphins saying goodbye along the way. I would very highly recommend Galveston Burial At Sea for anyone. The price seemed steep at first, but we wanted to honor her wishes. After the trip, it seemed a bargain! MOST memorable! Thank you Lori and Captain Derrick from the bottoms of all our hearts!

Thank you Galveston Burial at Sea. From the first interaction to the last good bye - what an amazing experience. Ms. Molly is a wonderful, beautiful and caring lady. Her whole heart goes in to this ministry. Captain Adam - I can’t say enough good things. He was kind, and respectful. He took the time and pointed out dolphins for our kiddos on the cruise. Overall the whole experience was sweet and my family will remember this moment for all the right reasons. This was the best way to honor my momma.

BAYWATCH Burial at Sea provided our family a wonderful experience at a difficult time. All the staff was very compassionate and accommodating. Vessel captain was very informative about various sights in the channel that helped make the journey more enjoyable. In our case about half of our group were from out of state and they were quite fascinated. I highly recommend their services.

We attend a Burial at Sea - Galveston and after witnessing this ceremony want to share my experience. The ceremony was handled with the utmost respect and professionalism. The team organizing the burial at sea was compassionate, meticulous and ensured every detail was attended to. The process began with a dignified ceremony on the vessel, with family and friends gathered to honor our loved one. The ambiance was serene with the sound of the gulf waves providing a calming sound. The ceremony was a great tribute and the final farewell was handled with the utmost sensitivity, as the biodegradable urns were placed in the water. The endless horizon and vast expanse of the gulf was peaceful. As the vessel departed, there was a sense of closure and serenity. This was a dignified and beautiful ceremony that was personal, meaningful and a fitting tribute to lives well lived. I definitely preferred this experience over a traditional funeral.
