I'm a salsa connoisseur which makes me a salsa snob and I judge Mexican restaurants on that first and foremost and I'm telling you this place has some excellent salsas! Their house salsa has a flavor I've only had a few times in my life and it's always been south of the border, I asked for their verde sauce which in Jacksonville restaurants is typically a bland mild sauce.. But not here, it had a true verde kick to it and was a flavor bomb to boot. The food was excellent but this is easily a place I would come in on the regular and chill some margaritas and chips & salsa. The staff was over the top friendly as well so the place will see me again and again, highly recommend!

This place was very clean, was greeted with great customer service from beginning to end. My drink was never empty. Food was amazing! I would rather pay a little bit more money for actual quality of food and taste than to go places and pay more for nasty food. Highly recommend stopping in here for lunch or dinner

I always have such a great experience here, and Gabriela is a big reason why. She’s incredibly welcoming, attentive, and just has the best energy. Every drink she makes is on point and the service is always top tier. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests. Definitely one of the best bartenders. I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Gabriela!

We were SO impressed and pleased with our order, this is now our go-to Mexican restaurant.I found this Salsas on DoorDash after being disappointed by other Mexican restaurants, and we have never been more impressed.The food is ALWAYS hot, fresh, and they pay close attention to detail for instructions on DoorDash (changing protein, taking out ingredients, etc.). They also don’t skimp on any ingredients, always provide extra chips and salad when we order chips and salsa appetizer. (Others never do this!)Not to mention the salsa is AMAZING! So fresh and you can tell it is made in house.Overall, this location has the best Mexican food in my opinion- they pay close attention to detail, give generous portions, and take pride in the food they serve, it is absolutely delicious! Even with to-go DoorDash orders.
