My wife and I both use the gym. It’s facilities, equipment and coaches are excellent. I do several of the classes myself and everyone is super friendly and welcoming, and the coaches always help you so you know what you are doing.

What a spot. Came here as a non-member looking for a class that would give me an idea of what was on offer at Bombers. Tom and his team were incredibly welcoming, informative, and supportive during my time at the facility. It really is "more than a gym" and contains a community of friendly and dedicated people who are all there to meet their goals and support each other. 10/10 would recommend!

I am new to BombersPt and have felt really welcomed from the start. I just finished my onboarding assessment with Tom, where my mobility, strength and cardio fitness were tested. It is great to see this thoroughness before getting into classes and using the equipment. For safety reasons and for setting those longer term goals.

As someone who isn’t a fan of exercise I really enjoy the fundamental groups. You can work to your own level but also challenge yourself and Tom and Marcus are always supportive and encouraging. Would advise anyone to give it a go.

Setting foot into Bombers I instantly felt comfortable. I was greeted with big smiles from everyone and noticed that there was all ages, levels and body shapes in the gym. All the trainers are kind, patient and encouraging. The gym itself is stocked with amazing equipment that is kept clean and safe. Without sounding too annoying I do look forward to each session.

No pressure first visit, trial class, and clear discussion about how bombers is focused on teaching people how to train (rather than just leaving them unguided). Really positive atmosphere, and not full of bodybuilders staring at themselves in a mirror. Would recommend!
What a great gym. Welcoming and inclusive. Tom creates such a 'can do' atmosphere in his classes and during PT sessions. I feel I have made so much progress since joining. There is fun to be had too, I really friendly place to be. I love the boxing with Fiona too, just the yoga to try now! Well done Tom for creating such a brilliant fitness facility in Modbury.
Bombers is a great place to train, with super fun sessions and a lovely community. The instructors know their stuff and help tailor my exercises as I am coming back from injury. I recommend the sports massages too!
After a free taster session I could tell that Bombers is a great place to train. Tom does really well at building a sense of community and friendly support in the classes. The facilities are really well looked after and it's great to pop to the beach after a session.

I purchased a weeks gym pass to Bombers to keep up training whilst I was on holiday. It is a fantastic facility with brand new equipment and flexible hours. Tom was so kind to let me use the gym and he was so helpful and enthusiastic to give me tips on how to use equipment. I will definitely be back soon!

I’ve been speaking to Tom for a while about coming along to the gym and doing strength work to supplement my swimming sessions at a local club. I attended a yoga class this evening. It was so well laid out and looked beautiful and peaceful with fairy lights to set the mood. The attention to detail in the class was second to none, from oils to incense to equipment, everything was thought out and ran beautifully. The premises is clean and tidy and a pleasure to be in! Just had my first Zoom beginners fitness class with Bombers. It certainly got some parts of me moving that haven't moved for a while. All the instructions were clear and easy to understand with alternatives for people like me with a dodgy knee that means I can't jump. Equipment needed can be provided by Bombers if you don't have your own. Overall a very enjoyable class and I'll be back for more.

Going to a fitness class can feel some what intimidating especially (if like me) its after a fair number of years of inactivity. There's no need to be intimidated at Bombers, we are all in it together to get fitter. Bombers is friendly, supportive and offers a range of options within each activity to make it less or more intensive. Don't get me wrong YOU WILL WORK, but that's the point!

ive been going with my mum for 2 weeks on Bigbury Beach Friday sessions, being the youngest there. i love the motivational and encouraging atmosphere and feel very welcomed and supported. its a brilliant mix of cardio and exercises that work every part of your body ; it is also helpful that Tom and Rachel give options of intensity levels for different workouts so that the sessions are accessible to all ability levels. building on this , everyone is very friendly and the environment is unmatchable. - Amy Thorp Less

In more recent weeks I have attended Bombers physical training Beach Phys, these sessions take place on Big-bury beach and have been physically challenging, but it’s great to back outside training. Tom has a very approachable encouraging way with him. I always assumed I was reasonably fit but Tom's no kit HITT classes online have made a huge difference to my strength mobility and overall fitness. I'd definitely recommend him no matter what level of fitness you're at.

I am trying to train for a Kilimanjaro climb later in the year whilst being 53 and unfit, this training is excellent and well delivered

Started 5months ago. Not done a lot of fitness apart from jogging. Every class I’ve been to there’s always a different exercise to master. Even my coordination is getting better in the warm up sessions. You can push yourself as hard as you want Tom is always on hand to improve your technique or get that extra 110% out of you.
I thoroughly enjoy the boxing class. It’s a different type of workout to what I usually do and not only am I getting fit and strong but also having lots of fun too!

I’ve been going to Bombers sessions for a few months now and am still finding them fun and motivating. I’m not someone that enjoys exercise, so it’s really great to actually see some progress and feel a bit stronger!!
I was super impressed by bombers bootcamp! Before I started I was very nervous and felt my fitness levels would hold me back. I didn’t want to be embarrassed. But I’m happy to say this wasn’t the case at all. I felt very welcome and well supported throughout. Great first session, I will be going back again next week.
I really enjoyed my first session this evening, it was well organised, with lots of variation, I got a good work out and had fun. Will definitely be back for more boxing. Thanks Tom.

Fantastic session ran by Tom! After a fairy gruelling warmup we went on to circuits which left me pretty sore for the rest of the day and days since. Not surprisingly - Tom ran the whole session with military precision! Look forward to the next one.

Tom made these adjustments really clear and had a really nice way of motivating people. Anyone wanting to improve their fitness but stuck in a rut with it or in two minds about a full blown gym membership, these sessions would be perfect!
