I've had multiple neck and back issues since I was in a bad car accident as a teen. They were compounded by a very physical job. Let me start by stating that this is not my first experience with chiropractic care but it's definitely my best experience to date. Dr. Geoffrey Besso and his team who offer what is known as Upper Cervical Chiropractor Care are amazingly compassionate, kind, educational and the consummate professionals when it comes to the care they provide to patients. When I paid my first visit to Dr. Besso in March 2021 I was experiencing several issues including but not limited to: not sleeping well; migraines 1-2x a month; headaches; gallbladder issues 2-4x a week since last August; almost constant pain in the left side of my neck and lower left back; extreme tiredness; and it felt as if my right hip was pulled upwards and throwing my natural gait off. I was a mess at only 39 years old! Dr. Besso did an initial exam which included x-rays and a thermal scan of my spine. He then took the time to study those and meet with me again early the following week to show me what those tests showed and what he hoped we could achieve with my care plan - all before making any adjustments to my spinal column. That in itself I found impressive as not all chiropractors take such care prior to making an adjustment on a patient. He also explained and showed me on my x-rays how in my case certain nerves were being impacted by my misalignments which helped me understand why I was experiencing gallbladder issues (seemingly out of the blue). The main point of Upper Cervical Care is to ensure that your spine is in alignment from top to bottom and they use the gentlest method to achieve that result but RESULTS they do get. After just 12 weeks in to my care plan all of the issues I came to Dr. Besso with are dramatically improved and a few of my issues are nearly completely healed. As a bonus, I have a lot more energy, have been able to enjoy exercising again and I enjoy a deep sleep almost every night now. Since going to Besso Clinic I received care that was completely different from what I have been given in the my past visits to other places. I have had such positive changes with excellent results! In 1981, I suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Surgery saved my life but it couldn’t repair the the full extent of the damage. After decades of chronic pain, I found Dr. Besso in 2014. I was skeptical but with nothing to lose, I “took a chance”. Wow!! I am so thankful I did. in ‘81 my life was saved and in 2014, Dr. Besso gave it back to me.

My experience at the besso clinic has been exceptional. I moved from SC and was seeing an upper cervical chirpractor there and saw very good resupts. After being seen by dr. Besso the last serveral months my scapula/ neck pain that had hindered my everyday life has finally become almost non exhistant. I stand by Dr. Besso and his technique 100 percent.

I always say my body is older than my years in age. I have been through mental and physical exhaustion numerous times. I suffered with ulcerative colitis and ended up having a three surgery procedure to remove my colon and create a reservoir type environment with my small intestine. My abs muscles and most of my organs were moved around and messed with. It has been a full time commitment to rebuilding my core and combatting scar tissue and it’s long term effects. I kept saying something in my body is fighting me. I would work out and be down for a day or two. I would stretch and feel tighter almost instantly. It was my nervous system and an endless cycle of repetition. My joints were exhausted. Dr Besso has helped me immensely. My back muscles are so tight. I was in pain with my hip and low back constantly. I am very aware of my body and I could feel my spine compressing more and more as I tried to stretch it out. I became nervous when I was getting pains in the base of my neck. My pain began diminishing immediately. Pain I didn’t realize was a problem began leaving. I realized I live with constant headaches. This clinic is run / managed by Geoffrey Besso, who has publicly stated that the COVID-19 pandemic is over and not a threat to the public. In the same post he dismissed and undermined the views of public health experts and doctors. I had a horrible experience when I went there, no one was wearing masks correctly. Scary for a healthcare business! Avoid this place like the plague, literally.

In 1985 I was in a minor car accident you would call a fender bender. I was not treated but my neck and shoulder muscles ached (whiplash). The aches went away in a few days but over time, I would experience intermittent extreme pain for several days. At times, I couldn't even hold my head up, as if something snapped like a rubber band in my upper shoulders and neck and it came on with no warning. Later, hip pain started because my spinal alignment was 'off'. It was upper cervical adjustments that gave me the right correction to my spinal misalignment. Dr. Besso is a real creep. He fraduently requested equipment and has been utilizing it for over 5 months and has refused to pay for it or return the equipment. This is one of those low lifes that gives chiropractic a bad name! I have reported him to the state board for his dubious conduct.
