Wes is awesome, not only as a 1:1 instructor but also as a group coach. Group class today was great, he made you feel like he was looking out for you on each exercise, while still maintaining great connection and enthusiasm with the entire class as a whole.

I always know I’m in for a good workout with Coach Lily! She fully demonstrates each portion of the workout to ensure that everyone feels confident with each movement/can modify as needed. Coach Lily is engaged throughout the workout, encouraging everyone to give their all and to work through every second. Coach Lily also gives feedback throughout the workout on form and proper technique to guarantee you are working the right muscles. I highly recommend! :)

Wes was ver thorough in his explanation of the squat variations. He was clear and concise and gave me a few pointers to improve my squat. Super professional and courteous. I thought Wes did a great job leading the way.

All of the coaches are great, but Wes trained me in my one-on-ones, and he’s fantastic at breaking down each movement and explaining them. CrossFit can feel intimidating, but Wes takes that fear away and guides you through the correct form. I highly recommend him!The gym is also super clean, which is a huge plus for me. They ensure everyone wipes down their equipment after each use—something I really appreciate as someone who’s particular about cleanliness!

Great class today. Well balanced between strength and cardio. I feel like I got a full body workout and didn't leave anything on the table. Training with Paul at Nela has been transformative for me. I came in with a number of health problems I needed to address, along with just getting stronger and in better shape. Paul and the Nela team started with the foundation of my system, understanding the source of my issues and created a plan to get my body back to healthy functioning. I look and feel much better after just a few weeks, and can already see the results. Highly recommend this gym and this team to anyone on the east side!

The Nela Athletics staff is super. They worked with my twin 13-year old sons, encouraging and nurturing them at every session. If my boys could not perform the specific tasks of the day, the staff created alternative workouts tailored to their capabilities. My boys always felt supported and respected. One of my sons dropped because his school tennis schedule ramped up, but time permitting he will absolutely re-enroll. Thank you Nela Athletics!
