Joining House of Fitness in my 60s, with no previous strength training experience, felt quite daunting at first, especially after a major heart operation and ongoing aches in my shoulders and knees. But from day one, the team made me feel completely at ease. They listened carefully, understood my situation, and explained how everything would be adapted to suit me.The small group setup is brilliant. It’s a real mix of abilities, with some people lifting heavy while I’m still building my confidence, but the environment is incredibly supportive and the coaching is excellent/ super knowledgeable. I always feel safe, well guided, and encouraged by both the coaches and the other members.Since starting, I’ve become stronger, more mobile, and much more confident. For me, it’s about staying healthy and active for the long term, and House of Fitness has given me exactly that. I’m really glad I started and would highly recommend it to anyone!
