Joined the Legends program a few weeks ago and loving it. They make accommodations to the program for those who need it. I highly recommend the Legends program to anyone 50 years or older who are looking to increase strength and stability!!

I am really enjoying the Legends program. It is geared to an older demographic and takes into account my injuries and body issues that accompany aging. Each workout has been different but they build on techniques and movements from previous sessions. Workouts are modified easily and progress is monitored. Two thumbs up for sure!

I've been going to Hatchet for almost two years now. It's become a pillar in my week. The physical exercises is great but it's the mental impact that it has had that keeps me going back. Mitch is an excellent instructor - he really cares that everybody has good form, and he's great at communicating the right queues and teaching new concepts. He knows his stuff and you can tell he's truly engaged in his passion when leading classes. Hatchet's a small community, and the more you come the more you'll recognize folks and make friends. I found early in my fitness journey that I perform at my best when I am challenged by a dose of friendly competition, rather than working alone on stuff. Working out in a class is the best because you're getting instruction, feedback, community support all in one - and you can focus on the actual work because the workout is designed for you. Crossfit can sound intimidating to newcomers, but if you give it a shot you'll see it really isn't - it might take a bit to catch up to some of the language, but it's just good programming designed to get you as fit as you can be. If you're new to working out & don't really know what you're doing in the gym either way, I'd say the level of instruction offered by Mitch is WAY less intimidating than a conventional gym full of equipment would be. I live out of town, so the best I can do is maybe 1 visit per week, alongside a variety of other fitness activities -- if you live in town there's no question the kind of transformation that can be at your fingertips if you decide to join and go every day. Class times are designed to fit easily into your schedule (in the AM before work, at 9am after school drop-off, or 5:30 after work) and the best change can come from making it a habit. Less

I recommend everything about CrossFit Hatchet. We are consistently learning new skills, testing our limits, and strengthening our bodies for every day life, all while getting individual attention as needed by some amazing coaches! I immediately felt welcome by everyone there and couldn’t be happier that I decided to check it out!

Mitch is very welcoming. The facility is clean and well equipped. Every time I attend a class, feels like we are building on the last workout and making progress.

So glad this exists in Huntsville. Awesome & friendly community vibe!

New facility is large and open. Mitch is great to work with, and very welcoming to drop-ins. A little upgrade to washrooms would be terrific, but not urgently required.
